So much food for the money. For $14.50, I got a brick-sized portion of Lau Lau pork and a cup of salmon ceviche (aka Lomi Lomi salmon). For my sides, I ordered the macaroni salad, and a double portion of the ramen salad (a vinegar, cabbage, and top ramen combination that has a nice acidic flavor to offset the pork) to avoid having rice. Had rice for lunch. This place is a great value for the money. Such a generous portion of pork that it made two meals for me. Servers made you feel like family. Only thing I'll say is that the tables, chairs, fixtures, etc. could use an upgrade when they have the money to do so. The dining room is looking a little tired.

The food here used to be really good, but in the last couple of years there's been a decline in the quality and flavor. The restaurant you can tell has been ignored and obvious dirty. I come back every few years to check in on it and it makes me sad to see that it hasn't gotten better.

This place used to be my all time go to place for Hawaiian food. When I lived in the area it was a spot we ate at least once a week. After 8 years, unfortunately this place is not the same food wise. I ordered the island style fried chicken with double Mac & bacon fried rice. Most of the chicken pieces were small and the bacon fried race had very little bacon. I wanted to order a side of their beef curry. They only make it on the weekends. The spam musubi is half the size. The service was great. We were checked on multiple times. The restaurant is decent: clean and the decor hasn't changed.Overall, I missed the glory days of this place in the 2010's.

Nice having a chance to eat Hawaiian food in Southern California . Lau lau is perfectly done on the mainland . Service and ambiance make me feel like I'm in Hawaii . Broke da mouth here and I will be back.

The food is always tasty, i personally get the hawaiian fried chicken with bacon fried rice. The only thing about the rice is they put very little bacon. Still good just wish they put more. Would still go back.

Today my family and I went for dinner and although the ambiance is good the service and food needs some work, I ordered the grilled teriyaki chicken and double macaroni salad with steamed rice, for starters after the young man took our order it took them more than half an hour for our food to arrive at our table with only a handful of people in the place, the rice was very dry, salad had no taste and the grilled chicken was burnt, now I've been here and have had catering before and it was really good but that was a few years ago, I don't know what has happened to the service and food but they need to do something about it.

First time here & theres no pictures of food on the menu or inside to reference so I was asking the worker questions & he seemed irritated. Im usually such a fan of mac salad when getting hawaiian food but im so glad i didnt get an extra portion here. Sorry but the only decent thing was the chicken katsu. I hate to leave such a bad review but I definitely wont be back to give this place a second chance.

At first, I was a bit skeptical eating here with all of the lower rated reviews. However, I had a pleasant experience. Came here for a late dinner with some friends and didn't have to wait that long for our food. Granted, there were only 4 other tables filled while we were there. First of all, I loved the island music playing and interior is pretty homey. I haven't seen other places have a half order option for loco moco, so I was glad to see that on the menu! I don't have the biggest appetite, so it was the perfect amount for me. Perfect amount of food and the patty is seasoned very well! I wasn't the biggest fan of the Mac salad as it kind of tasted more like potato salad.

The Loft has long been a Hawaiian food staple in this area and used to be one of our main go-to spots. It had been a while since we tried them, but I was glad to see their prices actually haven't really went up after all these years, and you still get a pretty good portion of food for the amount. I got my usual chicken katsu plate to go - the food wasn't too bad but not great. The bad news is I ended up finding not one, but two hairs in the saimin - so sadly it'll be a while before we pay them another visit.
