The Little Oliva is such a cute little spot! Their interior is beautifully designed & they have a decently-sized back patio where you can enjoy the LA weather.Service is extremely considerate and friendly. We requested to sit outside with a party of 6 -- they came by to check on us frequently & helped move umbrellas around for shade. The food was good-- I would recommend their pastrami sandwich and grilled branzino. Skip the moussaka and grilled chicken breast sandwich (a bit bland, a bit dry).I've heard their french toast and pancakes are amazing, but keep in mind they only serve them on weekends.

Very.Well.Done!! First, the food was excellent. Delicious! Service was attentive. Wine selection was limited, but the two glasses we had were quite good and pricey. Ambiance was soothing, roomy, and welcoming. We'll be back!

Cute spot on the hill that's nice for lunch. Remind me a lot of Yellow Vase. Parking - we went for a Thursday lunch and were able to park on the street ok. Food - They give you delicious olives and pita bread when you first sit down. I got the Mykonos eggs which were flavorful and packed with veggies and feta, the potatoes they were served with were really yummy. I ordered a green iced tea which came sweetened which was a little odd but it was ok!Service - there was only one waiter during our time there and service was unfortunately pretty slow and they made a small error with our food but it wasn't a big deal so we didn't bother to let them know (ordered truffle fries but got regular fries instead). Nice addition to places to eat on the hill, great ambiance and vibe as well!

The Little Oliva is a gorgeous little restaurant right next to the library. You can't tell that it was the Appetizer for decades! Gorgeous interiors. The music is from the radio and is a little loud (frankly annoying), but it is otherwise beautiful. The service is very friendly but a little distracted. They do care but they are not really needing to hustle because they are not crowded. The food is tasty. I have had the lamb burger with lettuce wrap and side salad sub and the salmon with salad subbed for potatoes. Both were delicious. Meat tends to be cooked more than requested but it is still very flavorful. No liquor license so bring a bottle of wine. They have beautiful wine glasses. It is nice to have a moderately priced, nice restaurant on the Hill.

So always interested in something new in Rolling Hills and thought after letting the dust settle we would try it. This place is part of the Yellow Vase group which frankly I find boring and pedestrian. Well that would have been nice if the food we had was that good. Nice ambiance and attentive if imperfect service but the food taste was bland and pricing/value well below appropriate for what was provided. We came on a Friday night and it was about 1/3 full. Everybody was at Giorgio's or the Red Onion which were better options. We had the fennel salad for around $17 and it was very bland. No offering of any fresh ground pepper which it could have used something. Got their parm truffle fries and they were decent albeit not special and severely under seasoned. No salt or pepper on the table so had to ask for them. They were good at keeping the small no ice water glasses filled which was good since they only held about 6 ounces of water. I had spaghetti and meatballs because I was in that rare mood and my wife had linguine in some sort of cream sauce. When they brought out our salad and fries they had her pasta with them. In no way should the entre show up with the salad and appetizer. I told them to take the pasta back and they did. When we finished the boring salad and saltless fries the pastas arrived. Clearly they had been sitting as they had that look. Her cream sauce was already breaking and my meatballs were dry and even with sauce were not good. Too tough and lacking in flavor and were lukewarm warm. Not the worst meal I've had but this is one to check the box and move on from. Nice enough people but not very ambitious food. Oh yeah no fresh Parmesan offered with either pasta. I know I could have asked but if they can't figure that out I'm just not going to tell them. Should have let it be reflected in the tip but I still went 20% as the servers were at least nice and were on top of that small water glass! Portions were not large and that was ok based on the marginal quality. My wife had no interest in coming here but I wanted to try it once. Looks like I will hear about this one for a while. $85 later with no dessert, app or any drinks I'm giving a generous 3 stars.

Everything here was delicious! A little restaurant in rolling hills. The parking was a bit confusing where I parked outside and tried to get in from the patio, and I had to go back down and enter from the street side lolBut the interior was adorable and setting in such a cute way! The food was super delicious.Good portion!Such a cute place!

Sadly, my second experience at this restaurant was far from what I experienced the first time. In fact, it was a very bad experience. To tell the story, we came in here, placed the order. We were giving our lattes straight away, but then we waited over 35 minutes to get our hummus wraps. Isn't creating a wrap very easy? Instead, we sat while we heard the staff laughing and joking and walking in and out of the kitchen area and generally messing around. Equaling, a very long wait before our food ever arrived. To make matters worse, from where I was sitting, I could see through the window in the kitchen door and one of the servers was brushing her hair in the kitchen. Isn't that a health code violation to brush hair in the kitchen? That fact is, the food here is good. But, who ever is managing the staff here is really doing very-very poor job. The upper management should really take a look at what's going on and the way their staff are treating their customers. As a new restaurant, in a location that has had several restaurants come and go at this location over the past few years. I think the management really needs to take a look at what's going on.

As a fan and frequent customer of the Yellow Vase in Rolling Hills, I was looking forward to trying another restaurant curated by owner Morgan. Located next to the library, the restaurant is beautiful and spacious inside and outside. They even have benches in front of the restaurant! I ordered the Moroccan Shakshuka and lentil soup! Both are very delicious. Next time I am going to try their pasta and branzino! The gentleman Joseph assisted me the day I ordered and showed me around the restaurant.

New spot. Lovely atmosphere. Modern decor. I like the gray and bright yellow colors of the interior. Service was friendly and efficient. Complimentary pita and olives at the table. Latte was good, so was the food. Mediterranean. Didn't quite know how to eat my entree. It was a lot of food on top of a lot of bread. Side potatoes delicious as well. Clean restrooms. Always a good sign. Nice outdoor dining area in the back as well.
