Tiki Bars are always expensive, but this one is a few dollars cheaper per drink than Tiki Bars you'll find in LA. I love the atmosphere. While not as cool as other Tiki Bars in LA, this is the best one you'll find in or near Torrance. Service is excellent. It can get really crowded at peak times. Great for dates! The Hula Hula Room is one of my favorite bars in Torrance.

Pineapple Dole Whip! This cute tiki bar has everything you could want for a night out--an intimate, cozy vibe, and a menu full of dangerously delicious drinks. The real highlight was the Pineapple Dole Whip drink--it was like heaven in a cup, sweet, refreshing, and the perfect tropical treat.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique, fun night out. We'll definitely be back for more!

What a fun concept. Cute Tiki style bar. Not at all the dive bar it was prior to this. Drink menu and descriptions are cute. I ordered the South Blue.I nursed my drink and I heard you can bring in food. Next time, I'll pick. Up some samosas a few doors down as my companion recommended. Service was friendly, non high pressure for cocktail upsell. The location is great with places nearby to have dinner and come to the Hula Hula room before or after your meal. Parking in the lot of this strip mall. Great place to meet up with friends.

We LOVE it here. It's so cute and cozy inside (it gets cold though! Bring a jacket). The bartenders are all really nice and friendly and the drinks are amazing. In addition to the regular menu, they also have a seasonal menu. I loved the 2 fall drinks I tried (sunset harvest and sweater weather) so I'm excited for the winter menu. My husband usually gets a Mai tai and he enjoys them. On a Saturday night it can get crowded but we've also come for happy hour and there's plenty of room. They don't serve food but you're welcome to bring your own.

As a local, I'm thrilled to have a unique spot like this tiki bar right here in Torrance. With the area being mostly dominated by breweries and sports bars, it's incredibly refreshing to find an intimate, thoughtfully designed tiki bar close to home. The ambiance is a standout, with tiki-themed decor from top to bottom, creating a cozy, lightly dimmed atmosphere perfect for a relaxed evening. The service is fantastic - attentive and friendly - making the experience even better. I appreciate that the bartenders have the creative freedom to craft their own cocktails, which makes the drink menu feel exciting and unique. I started my night with a Painkiller, a creamy and potent classic, and ended with the Pali Highway Sunset, which was light and refreshing. They also offer two frozen cocktails: a rotating Pumpkin Latte (sweet and delicious) and a classic Dole Whip that's a fun nod to tropical flavors. Located in a shopping center between a tattoo shop and a ramen place, there's plenty of parking, which makes it super convenient. While they don't serve food, I noticed several guests bringing in takeout, which is a nice option. It's such a treat to have a tiki bar like this in Torrance, you'd have to travel to Long Beach for anything comparable. This spot is definitely going into my regular rotation!

I love this place so much. Damn about time to have a real, honest to goodness Tiki Bar in Torrance. Went again last night for the first time since opening night.Got there on a Thursday around 8ish and it wasn't busy. The friendly bartender served up some absolutely delicious beverages including the wife's Diablo with the chili devil horns and my Mai Tai and 3 Dots and a Dash.My only recommendation would be to have the maraschino cherries on the 3 Dots replaced by better quality cherries but the drink itself is fantastic.Highly, highly recommend.

LIL GEM I thought this place was a good time. I showed up on Friday night around 9 pm and was seated at the bar immediately. It was packed so we took what we could get. We were helped immediately and had no issues checking out. The decor/ theme is spot on and it doesn't smell dirty or divey. It's a very narrow hall so I could see how it could be a long wait during prime time. There's a pool hall right next door and it would make for a good two stop combo.

What a great spot!I stopped by with my wife and daughter and were pleasantly surprised by the clean, fun tiki-themed decor and robust menu filled with tropical drinks.Upon arrival, we were enthusiastically greeted and welcomed in to the Hula Hula Room.Service was great - our waiter gave us the low-down and made sure we were well-cared for during our brief visit. The drinks were well-crafted and perfectly garnished.I hope this place gains a strong following, it's fun and worthy of a visit.Loved it - 5 stars!

We found the Hula Hula Room off of a friends post and we decided to head over to Torrance to check it out. It is tucked away in a small shopping mall strip and you might miss it if you aren't looking. I was excited to come since I had just visited Maui the week before and certainly in an island mood. It's open seating and as soon as you walk in it's totally tropical vibes! I love how Gillian's island is playing on the tvs and all the decor hanging up. I ordered the Nor Easter ($15) and it's a refreshing play on a Moscow mule. It was a good amount of alcohol also and I definitely felt my drink! The hubby ordered the Painkiller($15) and it was good as well, I just didn't like the bitter taste at the end but that's a personal preference! As a second drink we shared the Far Eastern ($17). It was a bit more sour than I would have liked but the hubby liked it and drank most of it! The restrooms were clean and for a Thursday evening it wasn't crazy busy but felt like a place to just relax and unwind for the day. We will definitely be back!
