The food here is bomb! My go-to order is the gyro and chicken combo, and I always ask for white sauce and BBQ sauce--mixing them together takes it to the next level. The flavors are spot on, the portions are generous, and everything is always fresh.Parking is decent since it's in a big shopping mall, so you don't have to stress about finding a spot. The service is quick, and the food never disappoints. If you're craving a solid Mediterranean experience, this place is a must-try. Definitely one of my favorites in Long Beach!

This place was recommended by a Facebook Foodie Page, so I thought I would give it a try as part of my Mediterranean food tour where I tried various dishes at dozen Mediterranean restaurants in a 6-month period.The gyro meat was chopped really small. Not sure why they do that. I like the gyro meat to be a large size, so you can chew it and hopefully enjoy the flavors. Overall, the flavor was okay.The staff was friendly.Parking was super easy. The price of the gyro was comparable to other similar locations.

Picked up my order and specifically asked I they included the red sauce."Oh yeah we have the hummus in there". I asked again if they put the red sauce in the bag. "Yeah yeah, it's all in there"This is the 3rd time I bring my order home and NO RES SAUCE!3 strikes and you're out! Not coming back.

Came here after a workout with a friend. I've never had The Hala Guys before. So, first timer here. Estuardo was great from the start. He greeted us with a smile. We told him it was our first time here. He explained the menu to us patiently. Estuardo helped me with my platter. Another gentlemen helped my friend out with hers. Both guys were awesome and helpful. Both warned us about how spicy they're sauce was. Just to confirm, it is spicy so please be careful. I ordered the Regular Platter with half chicken and half beef. Added hummus for $1. I also added jalapenos and bell peppers for no additional cost. The platter comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and rice. I give the platter a 10/10. I highly recommend this place and I'll be back.

A way better alternative to chipotle or CAVA! Halal guys has it down with their guaranteed freshness of ingredients and the FLAVOR. Who cares about pound town go to FLAVOR TOWN with halal guys!! The white sauce & hot sauce is where it's at. I just shake the entire bowl up honestly. It's the best thing ever. I get a combo bowl of chicken and beef with onions lettuce tomato and jalapeños then just douse it in white sauce and hot sauce. I knocked a star because the service was subpar. The workers were defintely unwelcoming and I felt like a burden just for ordering food??? Like whaaaaaat. WEIRD. Anyways it costs nothing to smile or be kind. The place is a good size, you can sit inside to enjoy your meal!

Food was 10x better due to the amazing customer service given by Johnny. Greeted as soon as I walked in from taking/making my order. Thank you Johnny for fantastic hospitality.

Came here for dinner and was assisted by Stewie and JJ, super friendly service. Got my order correctly and everything came out great.

We finally got to try this place with legendary roots in New York. The food, service, and atmosphere were all pretty good. We had the small combo plate with rice, vegetables and choices of proteins. It was a delicious and balanced lunch.We have a young puppy so we appreciate the outdoor seating area. Parking: There are plenty of free parking at this large shopping center.

The chicken is well seasoned and juicy. Service is always friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean. I've been coming to Halal guys for years after I went to the original location in New York. I don't like how the hot sauce has gotten less spicy.

We have never tried this spot and decided to finally give it a go. Was NOT disappointed. Food was bomb, reasonable priced, & service was great! Being our first time, JJ, took care of us and explained everything clearly. We were told the different variations you can order and sampled some protein as well. Also, the mango iced tea was good! Super refreshing and tasty. Side note: not that anyone cares but for folks like me...the forks they provide are solid! Most places have flimsy forks but these were solid and made it easy to mix my food and eat. If you're by the traffic circle, stop by!
