I can't tell you how much I love this place. If you having a holiday Christmas party anniversary party birthday party wedding after party rent out Epic! Another really cool thing about Epic is. It's the best for midweek birthdays! Don't have nothing to do because it's the middle of the week. Grab a cake and take your birthday party to Epic on Wednesday or Thursday. Everybody loves a karaoke party. I did it and had the best birthday ever !! I am a regular so when they found out, I was having my birthday party there the promoters drag queens and staff got together and got me a very special surprise. They all know that I love Dolly Parton so they hired me a Dolly Parton impersonator ! It was the best night ever ! Wednesday night is karaoke till 11 and then a drag show so much fun. I can't tell you how much drag queen inspire me to really work on myself. Thursday night is karaoke all night long unless posted differently. Fridays and Saturdays are Spanish rock and special events. Trust me once you come here you'll never stop. It's literally my Cheers. Because sometimes you really want to go where everybody knows your name ! Come on over and become a regular! The staff is amazing and they they're always glad you came #5Stars

It was 5 minutes waiting at the bar ... before anyone even made eye contact with me. The DJ already played 10 songs and I'm still waiting for a drink. By the time I got my drink I counted 15 songs . No smile, no thank you. Won't be coming back. If my friends band wasn't playing , I wonder if that's why the dance floor is empty.

Epic LIVE is the place to be! The owner and staff members are so friendly and welcoming. The bartenders know what they are doing and the food is good too! This is definitely a hidden gem in Downey. It's located right off of second Street and Downey blending in nicely so it's unnoticeable. I love a really good cheeseburger, especially when all the ingredients combined create perfection. This cheeseburger "the LAX" should be top ten for the month of December 2023 in LA county. This savory combination with its simplicity, makes it so amazing between the layers of patties, grilled onions, arugula and cheeses that it smashed between some soft, sweet buns like that of resembles Hawaiian rolls. Of course I could have added more to it like: jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, avocado or bacon, etc. but it was simply divine the way it was prepared. The owner "David" served me that evening and he offered a wcipa (west coast Indian pale ale) a new beer he was serving that paired well with the food. Seeing how happy David was talking about the items really showed me how much he cares for his business. The food and beer were tasty. I will return..

Place looks way better then before however, no menus, they have some sort of items priced on a small board on the wall which had no lighting and no way to read it. When I asked the bartender which cocktails they serviced, he just pointed at the bottles. The dance floor was bigger but I noticed a lot of the bad things pointed out by bar rescue happening all over again, including staff not being engaged on customers and cleanliness. Btw, it was a slow night around 1030pm.

Visiting some family in the wonderful city of downey california. Far far away from home from sugar creek missouri .When my friends told me that there was a local karaoke / drag night At a bar that just got Branded by bar Rescue.. I just about jumped at the chance ! It's definitely not what i'm used to but i had a wonderful time encouraging those beautiful drag queens. Love your favorite whistle / whiteboy #LetsGo!#5Stars

I waited too long to review the Epic Lounge and totally forgot what we ordered. I do remember everything we had was terrific and definitely worth the price ($$$+) including drink specials.Our only problem was this place was LOUD!We were sitting at a small table and couldn't carry on a conversation. The place was packed and service was a bit slow. Would we go back, perhaps not just because of the noise level.

Sub par food I literally saw someone walk in with 2 bags of precooked grocery store chicken wings no crowd on a Friday night I'm seeing a Tyson frozen chicken patty being used for the buffalo fries here....this place is very low effort epic failure.... Will not be back can't even have a actual music app they have YouTube with commercials and all inside is dreary humid and not very inviting

I was treated so unfairly by the owner of this club! I came to an event my friend's were hosting. The security at the door were not checking bags. I brought a small personal of Hennessy with me to drink while I was there. The fee was $30 for entry so we paid $60 because it was 2 of us and I also paid $50 of food at the bar! The owner saw my bottle on my table and took it from me. When I addressed him and asked him where did he take the bottle, he said he threw it away! At that point, I was pissed and felt like he was trying to be funny with me. I told him I can take my bottle back to my car, he didn't have the authority to throw away my belongings. He said he didn't care and I couldn't get my bottle back. I told him his security didn't check bags at all and more than 1 of my friends brought in liquor. He was disrespectful and very unprofessional! Even after spending more than $100 At the club between me and my friend that came, I was treated like I was not welcome. Subsiding the fact I came with a personal bottle of liquor. He asked me why I didn't purchase from the bar, and he specifically saw a whole table of food while he was trying to act like he was walking over to see if we needed anything else.
