The Crooked Duck

The food and service was amazing here!! Street parking outside in the neighborhood nearby and there was no wait! I got an omlete and it was cooked to perfection. The service was top notch and my boyfriend and I spoke to the owner who was so kind and upbeat. I definitely recommend this place for your next brunch spot!!!

My favorite brunch place in Long Beach. It doesn't have the beach view like Claire's at the Museum, but it still has a nice local vibe. Half the seating is outdoors. What Crooked Duck lacks in the beach views, it makes up for with the food. The corned beef hash breakfast is the best brunch food in LB. The overeasy yoke breaks perfectly over the hash and is the perfect portion size. Also they have a variety of juices to add to your mimosa :)During the busy Sunday hours there is sometimes a bit of a wait, but the staff is very attentive and informative.

Came to have breakfast with my friend. Ordered Beef hash with scrambled eggs and sourdough bread Flavored coffee (hazelnut flavored)It was pleasant. Food came out good. The service was good. It was a bright and fun atmosphere.

Thankfully the crooked duck is right across the street from my job. My boss and I came here during lunchtime for my yearly work conference. ( no pressure right??) lol. So you can probably imagine I wasn't super hungry but still wanted a delicious meal. We were sat down right away and decided to sit in the back outside patio. I decided on the Corned beef hash, home potatoes, scrambled eggs and sourdough toast ($17) and a green tea. Everything was delicious, especially the corned beef hash!! I ate about half my meal and saved half for after my meeting. Service was good and the corner patio was quiet enough for our meeting which was appreciated.

In the passenger seat cruising down PCH, The Crooked Duck caught my attention because it's name made me giggle, so, we decided to pull over and order take out. Parking is a bit tricky here, it sits on a corner of PCH and a diagonal neighborhood street. There are only 3 spots in a tiny lot on the side but otherwise look to park on the street. Order: The Crooked Duck Omelet - duck chili (black beans, bacon, 5-spice duck), melted jack cheese, served with breakfast potatoes & toast. This omelet was gently cooked, enough for me to share, included a lot of breakfast potatoes (which I appreciated, we were hungry!) and the shredded duck meat inside was seasoned well but just a tad dry; still very good. Lots of beans and cheese inside made for a filling late breakfast that kept us full for a few hours. The staff were all very nice and helpful, the ambiance is beachy vintage and chill; definitely a spot to come back to.

Great lil breakfast spot in Long Beach, nice outdoor seating area and great menu selection! Stopped by before a motorcycle ride, loved it! We'll be back!

Located off PCH and Granada. The parking lot is limited since they use half for outdoor seating. Street parking on Granada is available. Thursday and Friday are street sweeping days so keep that in mind if you go those days between 9am-12noon. Outdoor seating in lot as well as patio. Indoor seating is available as well. The food is really good and served in large portions. The decor is rustic and the service is good.

I'm honestly blown away with how amazing this place is!Ambiance: 9/10Slightly outdated but well maintained! I love the decor and the place is clean and makes me feel safe to dine here. Service: 10/10I love the team work! Everyone here works together to ensure the customers are happy. My server and the gentleman who works in the back both took great care of me and made sure I was happy and satisfied during my dining experience. Food: 9/10To be fair I have only tried the avocado toast but it was literally the BEST avocado toast I have ever had! I love that I received two pieces of toast which most places only provide one slice of toast. I also added an egg which was slightly overcooked but I was okay with the result. I wanted to order the mega mimosa but the server told me that the mimosas were on a special for $5/ea which I definitely took advantage of. I love when servers help you save money! It lets me know they care more about your experience than earning a better tip from you spending more money. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I will definitely be back and I will recommend this place to many people. Please do yourself a favor and stop by for the amazing service and quality food items.

Good food, the service is fantastic makes you feel like you're at a friend's. I love the herbed chicken salad, great breakfast. Cool home style ambience. I love their food ! Everything I've had is fresh and delicious!!!!!!! Going back

Baybeeee! One of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots... they always have the jams going in the background... the food is DELICIOUS! I've tried a lot of menu items... but I can't get enough of the prime rib breakfast... the potatoes and steak are seasoned soooo well! I love that for me!... the OJ is really freshly squeezed and tastes amazing! They have wine and mimosas... the staff is always energetic and friendly... this is really an all is welcome neighborhood vibe... please support this biz... it's a favorite of mine.A side note for those of us who care... they have Red Rooster hot sauce!!! (Yummy!)
