The Corner Store

This place was such a hidden gem on our beach walk the other day great people local charm! Food was wonderful the service was literally perfect. The cashier was talking with the kids who were ordering ice cream one of them couldn't open his soda and she overheard and immediately zoomed in to help. This will be a regular stop of mine. Also pet friendly (they insisted on a treat for my pup) and they keep tons of local items, including jams and honey's and clothing to support locals!

What is going on with the corner store that we loved and adored for many years ? It's a gem and the energy is odd now, the love felt sucked out of here , it's running low on many supplies and they aren't offering the same quality baked goods and items. There's a sign in the window that says for sale and the young lady at the counter said that it got sold to new owners and she's not sure what is happening ? Does anybody know what they're going to do with this place of neighborhood love and years of a personal touch to our community? We are so sad on what it looks like inside with empty shelves , hardly and desserts - it's lost it charm and neighborhood vibes. The food was not the same either. I could say so much more but this is really sad is best. ;(

Great spot with local and neighborhood vibes! Got a breakfast burrito and it was full of flavor. I only wish it had a bit more egg but overall it was yummy! Service was great too, the cashier was kind and friendly

If you looking for a place to hang out and relax whether you have a duty friend or not, stop by The Corner Store. It has a very relaxed vibe and almost makes you feel disconnected from your mobile device.Upon walking through the doors, it's really a throw back of how things used to be and how things should be. There's local residents sitting down enjoying coffee and pastries as people walk through the door. A spacious dining room with spaced out seating and "classic" candy and drinks. Most of items including jewelry are from local artists and vendors, with the exception of the coffee, that's from Oakland.The menu is posted on the wall ranging from breakfast burritos to sandwiches with everything in between. For the most part things are made to order, but looking around the place will easily pass the time. You can taste the freshness in all the ingredients and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are clean.They're known for their potato salad, but it's not my cup of tea. However, their house salad is really good. Just sit back and disconnect from your mobile device and enjoy your time there eating.Cheers!

Cute store on the corner! Good selection of food and drink and some drinks available in the coolers to see. Pastries and cookies in the dessert case in case ya missed it. Friendly service and quaint, throwback atmosphere. Prices are similar to other cafes.

The breakfast burrito was too salty and not tasty. And the restaurant was not very clean.

The food is okay but the service is terrible and the prices are gouged. They charged $4.50 for a small plain iced tea and then ask $1.50 plus tax for a partial refill. They charged $1.50 to add avocado to a BLT but then left it off. My kids asked if they could have water and the server said they ran out water but we could buy bottled water from their little store! To add insult to injury, the drinks in the refrigerator are room temp. So the quality and service are bad, but at least it's expensive.

The Corner Store changed ownership and several months+ ago and it probably is better than 3 stars - my partner likes it still. I am a bit unhappy the menu was changed removing my favorite sandwich - The Sailor's Delight. A good chicken sandwich. :(There are other sandwiches that look good in the pared down menu. Also, the place appears to be trying to get a bit more of an event space feel. No Katie Perry appearances soon but something more like local talent. If you're in the area, it is still worth to check it out My rating could easily go up a star after the bitterness fades.

Overpriced, poor quality food. Dirty interior. Do not see the appeal. Do not recommend.

Food is very bland. The cook needs to learn to use spices better. Service is okay. Ambiance is the best part of this place.
