The Castle Sports Bar and Grill

Straight up dive bar. If that's not your scene, don't go. Slightly grungy feel with some great 90s LA rock on. More of a locals place than a tourist place. Back door entry kind of joint.

0 stars - but forced to pick one. Disgusting staff. Disgusting place. It's trashy and cheap and dirty. The girls are dressed like they're at a strip club. Not a dive bar.

Ahhhhh one of my old watering holes. I come back after living overseas for twenty years and the girls have not aged a bit. How do they do it?!? It is like magic! Bar is decent, atmosphere is friendly. Locals and regulars don't mind new faces. Food is bar food, nothing great. Drinks are stiff, nothing fancy and will get the job done. Oh and prices are reasonable. It's cash only but plenty of atms around the area. Pool table and jukebox for entertainment.

Giving this place five stars just for my mid day walk through...... I have been working at a location next to here a couple of weeks, and I am regularly amazed at the clientele that walk in and out of this establishment. Never in my wildest dreams, would I imagine that there was someone behind the bar with model like features, serving the patrons who were an interesting cast of characters. If you would like to witness a Who's Who of weird looking motherfuckers in Manhattan Beach, stop at the castle. Oh and they're open at 6am for some reason.

Cheap drinks girls work hard for their money food not bad. Watch the back step when you come into the bar I almost broke my leg, walking in and falling.

bartender was terrible. bra strap falling off her shoulder and seemed intoxicated and racist. I will be sure to NEVER return.

It is SO Dark inside, the floors are sticky AF. Its "pay as you go" with an over priced charged ATM machine. I would not trust the food. The drinks are cheap and the bartenders are half naked with LOW standards. Not sure how it is still open & not shit down for health code violations
