I have a few select "cravings" .. we'll call them, when I want to eat dirty/ have a cheat meal. This is one of them. The soy garlic chicken is SO good. I will say, order more than a whole chicken if you have 4 people. It won't be enough. The pieces are a little smaller, but it's fine if you care mostly about the skin/ glaze. They're not skimpy, however you won't get those pieces where you eat the skin, and then get to the meat... and then there's just more meat without the good sauce / crispy skin. Anyways, definitely give this place a shot. It's completely worth the calories and life is too short to eat bad food!

For some really good Korean chicken wings/ tenders in the Lomita area this is the place to go! We wanted some good food made quickly and decided to try this Thanks Chicken Lomita for some chicken. There's apparently another location that may be on Western in Koreatown. You order at the counter and food is brought to you when ready. So the service is kinda basic. You have to ask for extra napkins, but you can have a cool chicken wing bib! See photos! I had the house special wings, but others had habanero and garlic tenders. All were good, but the garlic ones were the best if you can only get one type. The house special were a bit sweet and habanero was habanero hot. We also got coleslaw which was kfc sweet and good. Also ordered a side of pickled radish and kimchi were both good as well. The place is slightly upgraded strip restaurant, but clean and comfortable. We were the only ones siting down, but there seemed to be a pretty good takeout flow. What the place needs is a beer to go with the meal and it looks like they are trying to get a license for that. Oh, we took some food home and it's reported that the chicken was still crispy next morning. The restaurant is what may be a varied restaurant food habitable zone of Lomita, Harbor City and East PV. Great Japanese is in the same mall and general area, plus Indian. The strip mall has a few restaurants, but this is located next to a Papa Johns. Parking is easy at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday. This location has gone through a couple of Korean food reincarnations. So one might remember this as something else.

This place is near my home and always wanted to try because of all the positive reviews.Korean style chicken what is there not to love right?Well... So I ordered some wings. Original Crispy and Habanero spicy wings. When I went to pick up the wings the Korean Radish pickle was missing.I asked and they said they were all out...WHaaattttt..... If I knew they didn't have the radish pickles i would not have ordered the wings. You cannot serve Korean style chicken w/o the radish pickle! Its like not having Kimchi at a Korean restaurant...I brought the wings home and ate about 3 and stopped...so disanointed.. because i was looking forward to the Korean Chicken and the radish together. Not sure if i will return...

Tired this place after a friend found it on Yelp since he was craving Korean fried chicken. We had their soy garlic wings, sweet and spicy wings, fries, and spicy tteok-bokki. I really enjoyed their soy garlic wings; sauce is delicious. The tteok-bokki was also tasty with a mixture of rice cake, fish cake, dumplings, and egg. Staff was friendly and came by to check that everything was okay.

So I thought I'd give this place a try. I got the regular chicken. I got a Bulgogi bowl and some dumplings. the chicken was OK. The Bulgogi was all fat and the dumplings were tasteless so maybe thank you chicken because the chicken is good but as far as the beef, you're not even welcome all fat horrible better off going to YoshinoyaIt's an hour later and I'm sick....Thanks Chicken!

Wooden tables at Korean restaurants are the bomb. I really loved eating spicy rice cakes stew with the soy garlic fried chicken tenders. Everything was so sweet, which to me is meant to herald a sweeter Lunar New Year's. I know I heard fried things and spicy things are supposed to be avoided for Lunar New Year's in Chinese tradition, whereas in Korean tradition I think spicy things are sought after to say your hearts will be strong. And Korean fried chicken has never been done to the knowledge of my palate as fine and as expertly as Thanks Chicken. Hamsamnida, kumapsumnida. There are cute chicken cartoons for each flavour of fried chicken as well as the promise that these are Korean street foods in the restaurant. I really was so weirded out at the sweet taste profile. And I missed kim chi so much although the teokk bokki rice stew, which was mala rose flavoured, was already spicy enough. Fresh peppercorns. Kim chi fried rice was an option. So is kimchi rose pasta. Maybe next time? With yang neom sweet and spicy chicken? Perhaps. There was stew and chicken leftover plenty. I got filled up with these good foods fast. The glass noodles were very yum yum. As was it seemed a kind of tamago kind of sweet tofu kind of noodle. I see that this is described as fish cake. This is my first encounter with Korean fish cake, having eaten Chinese and Japanese and Filipino kinds. Fresh green onions and cabbage. A slice of egg. These are my impressions. I used chopsticks to eat chicken, my mouth said there's more on the way... Way nice. Yums. Haengbokan daesae yosaeyo. See you next Korean Lunar New Year's, tasty deleeshyus rice cakes stew. The service was really sweet and polite, too. The ambiance was casual, but perfect for this elevated comfort food. Paps Oggie had seafood regular rose pasta which had calamari and mussels in a carbonara sauce which he thought was too spicy which makes me laugh. His sauce was paler yellow cream colored my sauce was reddish orange colored. The seaweed rolls goes great with the coleslaw. And my stew was meant to be spicy. But caramel milk tea with milk pudding from nearby Krak Boba as our following stop took all the heat away with some in house Dr Pepper for our dine in. I'mma start stuff. I'mma make a boozhie scene. EAT KOREAN FOOD FOR BETTERMENT SOON OR YOU WILL MISS AOOUUTT. (253) edited to add: These were clearly Honey Golden Boneless Chicken Tenders as deliciously pictured! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You, dear reader, must try both for yourself as soon as is humanly possible. 乁‿ㄏ

This is the best Korean Fried Chicken I think I've ever had ! Please note that since it's made fresh, it takes up to 20 minutes. They tell you that after you pay. LOL. Just note that. I did time it and it was actually 15 minutes. It seems like a long time but they actually had it ready sooner than 20 minutes. Because we couldn't decide which one to order, we ordered the half Crispy and the half Soy Garlic. My son absolutely loved the Soy Garlic. We would definitely come back for sure! Parking in the small lot.

* good fried chicken * to go still good* variety of choices * pleased the whole family This is a new chicken spot that opened up in the South Bay. Our family likes to try every Korean fried chicken spot to find our favorite. The prices here and quite similar to BB.Q chicken that's on Lomita - which we find to be on the pricier side for whole fried chicken and a full order of chicken wings. With the prices being similar, I would need this place to taste better or be crisper/ crunchier than bb.q. And I can't say I would prefer this place over the other with confidence One staple with fried chicken is their which radish cubes. My kids usually inhales these and we always ask for more at these places we asked if we can replace the coleslaw for more radish pieces - which they said no to and we would need to order sides of them... which seemed unnecessary. Overall the chicken was good and the rice cakes were good. Our family ordered twice from here already and most likely will order again sometime soon.
