Okay, if you're on the hunt for the most authentic Thai food ever, look no further--this spot is LEGIT. When you ask for extra spicy, you better be ready, because they do not hold back! I've been to a ton of Thai places, and nothing, I mean NOTHING, hits quite like this one. I'm a creature of habit, so why mess with perfection, right? Every time I go, I have to get my usual lineup. First up, drunken noodles--I've tried them everywhere, and honestly, no other place comes close. Perfectly chewy noodles, bold flavors, and that wok-kissed magic that just hits different. Then there's the papaya salad--we got it extra spicy, and whew, it delivered! I do wish they had salted crab instead of dried shrimp, but even without it, it was absolute fire. But if you really ask me what the real showstopper is here - It has to be hands down THE MONSTER (a.k.a. Plahgoon). This spicy, sweet, and sour shrimp salad is a flavor explosion. The tamarind sauce in the dressing is Pure perfection. It packs a punch in the best way possible--so satisfying, so addictive, so impossible to share LOLLong story short--this place is my Thai food obsession, and if you love bold, authentic flavors, you need to go. Just don't ask me to share my food!

I was greeted by a nice lady who gave me a menu and allowed me to sit and place a takeout order. Iam surely a noodle and shrimp fried rice kinda girl...having said that...I ordered shrimp fried rice and beef glass noodles. As I waited...I visited the restroom which was clean, woohoo! The dining area was quaint and welcoming. Shrimp Fried Rice - 5 stars due to how fresh and flavorful it was! One of the best I've had!Glass Noodles - 4 stars due to the lack of freshness the beef had...could not eat it but the noodles and vegetables were quite delicious. I'd return in a heartbeat but would not order anything containing beef...it's a no-no! Please don't serve customers old beef. Thank you!:)

Whether it's after a long clinical shift or grueling exam as a med student, or post bodybuilding workout when generous amounts of protein / carbs (it's off season) are required to replenish the glycogen stores, this place consistently provides! S1 Kai yang bbq chicken is definitely the one I always order. When I'm craving noodles, can't go wrong with Pad Thai with shrimp. If you're craving something fried, chicken ruby dinner is also a sound choice. Service is great. Food comes out quick and servers always top off drinks right away. Place truly has cozy vibes, great environment for a chill family dinner. Been coming here for decades. And as long as I'm craving Thai food and in SoCal, this is where I'll keep going back to.

Thai bbq never misses! Been going here since I was a child with my family. Their food still taste the same as I can remember. Staff is always friendly and the establishment is always clean. I always order the bbq chicken and the coconut soup! It can get busy on weekends or dinner but it's worth it!

My son and I are Thai food snobs! He's never been here so I decided to take a drive and show him what he's been missing. We were seated immediately and ordered our usual Thai tea. We love a great Chicken Sate and that is exactly what we ordered. The portions are very generous and if you're not greedy like me you may have some leftovers. My son devoured his plate per usual and I couldn't be more satisfied. The chicken is grilled to perfection and plated over that beautiful bed of rice. We always order extra peanut sauce because we generously slather it over our rice. If you are in the mood for authentic Thai Food, you MUST visit this restaurant. The restaurant is usually busy but, the service and efficiency can't be beat.

One of my favorite Thai places for pad see eww. The pad see eww is absolutely delicious and the portion is huge! I love that they use regular broccoli instead of chinese broccoli. The regular broccoli absorbs all the flavor pad see eww sauce. I came her on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. We also ordered the chicken satay, it was good and I was surprised it wasn't dry like most places. Food came out quick, service can be slow with a full house, but definitely worth it. If you love pad see eww, definitely come here for it

I guess it's true what some say: it's never as good as the original. I've always loved their 3rd street/ Los Angeles location. I also got to try their Carson location which was almost just as good. This spot? Not so much. Cuzzo was dog sitting my fur baby and since he lives around here and I'm around the area (to pick the pup up), I figure I'd check them out. It was a phoned in-pick up order to take home. WINGS OF ANGEL: A must-have whenever I see this on the menu! (Not all Thai restaurants offer this.) Sadly, it was no bueno. It was mostly chicken, not so much stuffing. I felt like I just ate a boiled chicken that was battered and deep fried with no seasonings. It was really bland! I couldn't get through one. Kinda disappointing. CRAB FRIED RICE: If there were to be a next time, I'd ask them to skip the fillers: you know - tomatoes and cucumbers. Otherwise, this was decent. Main essence of crab was there, but felt like it's missing some kinda umph. It was good - I've just had better. CHICKEN CURRY: Hubbers warned it might be a tad bit spicy. Meh, I risked it and it wasn't too bad! Chicken was soft and tender, good level of curry and seasoning. I didn't have the chicken BBQ (just didn't have a taste for it), beef panang and drunk noodles (both for Hubbers and both too spicy for my taste.) The only issue he had was that the white parts of the BBQ chicken were very dry, otherwise, all good! FOOD: 3.5. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 4. PARKING: Private lot shared with lotsa other spots. Many 20minute only spaces, so be mindful. OVERALL: 3.75. It wasn't too bad but could be better. I guess I'll stick to the LA/Carson (which is closer to home anyway) locations...

Visiting around the area in Cerritos and decided to give this place a try. This felt like your traditional Thai restaurant, which definitely seemed pretty authentic! They had a wide variety of selections on their menu, but I was pretty set on the Panang curry. My bf got their Thai BBQ Chicken, which seemed to be highly praised! Service was pretty good, they were quite attentive when we needed to order and got our drinks fairly quickly. Our entrees did take awhile, but not upsettingly long. Once we got our dishes, the portions were rather hefty! It's definitely worth for the price. Trying out my panang curry, the overall flavors were really good! I really liked how the beef was very easy to fall apart. I think this is probably the best panang curry I had haha. My bf was a bit disappointed in his chicken though. He said it lacked flavor and didn't enjoy it as much as he liked it. He's also allergic to shrimp, so an additional $3 for substituting the shrimp fried rice was something he had to do. I did try the chicken myself and I do agree that the flavors are not strong? but rather it tasted healthy haha.Overall, I really enjoyed my panang curry! Service was nice as well.

TLDR: It's not the BBQ that I was expecting but it a place with big portions and good for big groups. Thai BBQ chicken: It's a bit bland but the sweet sauce barely saves it. Dark meat is very juicy and the white meat was surprisingly juicy as well. It's a good amount of food for the price. It becomes more worth it as a lunch special since it will drop a dollar or two in price and they'll throw in the rice. Shrimp Pad See Ew: It doesn't do enough to stand out from how a normal pad see ew would taste like. Sweet and a touch of saltiness in the end. Par Service: The staff handled a full house well. Service was okay. Waters were topped up and I didn't have to wait too long for the bill. Ambiance: Generic restaurant feel. Nothing worth noting.
