You choose your vegetables and meats, then weigh it, tell them what kind of soup you like, they'll cook for you. Yummy! That's I can say

Absolutely loved their hot pot experience!I totally did not understand how they were and were not connected to bowl Thai grill and sweet rice so that was my bad. I will make sure to bring the rest of my family to eat here next time because of boy was that hot pot HUGE!!I put some napa cabbage, mushrooms, the firm type of tofu, lobster fish balls, baby octopus, scallops, bshell on prawn, and glass noodle in the tom khaThe broth is so flavorful and everything was so fresh. I also loved dipping the veg and seafood into their sauces to get different flavor combos. The owners and staff where so nice and helpful since I've never been there before and were even willing to accommodate us when we ordered from bowl Thai grill by mistake. There was quite a few tables but I could see them getting really busy soon so just be aware of that.

Great new Thai HotPot spot in Gardena serving up a customizable soup allowing for experimentation and traditional options. You grab your own proteins and vegetables to add to your soup and then choose your desired broth and it is later served to you in a small hotpot for you or to share. The staff was very helpful in the whole process since it was my first time. I had a Tom Yum broth with just about everything mixed up and it came out better than I expected. I even put in some random ingredients that don't really go with Tom Yum just for fun and it still came out great. Definitely check this place out.

I'm not sure when the resto reopened. We happened to be in the area on a Thursday night and saw that it was open. We were the only customers for most of our meal. You'll select the ingredients you want in your hot pot from a salad bar offering of veggies, tofu, noodles and meats. At the end, they'll weigh your bowl of ingredients. As of this review, it's $17.99/lb. You'll select your soup base and it's sent to the kitchen to create your masterpiece! Their drink offers are water, soda and Thai iced tea. In the dining room, you get to visit and revisit the condiments bar. So many options to create the perfect accompaniment to your hot pot!It wasn't a long wait for our hotpot. We shared one hotpot and that was more than enough for the two of us. We selected the jaew hon soup base, which is tamarind base and sour. I thoroughly enjoyed it!We plan to add this place to our weeknight, dinner out rotation. Enjoy!

This owner also owns Sweet Rice and Bowl Thai which is in the same area as Thai Hot Pot. This is a pay by weight hot pot where you add your ingredients to a bowl and pay after weighing it. Currently it is $17.99/lb. It doesn't seem like it, but a pound of food is a lot of food! They offer five types of soup flavors: Thai Suki (tangy, signature soup), Jawe Hon (Spicy, herbal-like soup), Tom Yum (fish sauce/lemon grass), Tom Kha (tangy, creamy, coconut milk), and Nam Sai (chicken and veggie broth). I got their Tom Kha and my bowl consisted of lots of veggies, onions, and beef slices. My husband got their Thai Suki. They have another station where you can grab sauces - green onions, garlic, chili peppers and more Thai Suki sauce. Water cups and station were next to it. When we went on a Thursday night, there weren't a lot of people so finding a seat was easy. Parking was also easy as that plaza can get crowded. My Tom Kha was so flavorful! Probably something I'd get again, and so nice on a cold night! The veggies were fresh and added to the broth. I will say, watch out for the lemon grass! They are tough! Each set comes with rice!Customer service is spot on- Always friendly and willing to help. This is a great alternative to Boiling Point!

Wanted to visit Thai Hot Pot again after they changed concept. Previously, it was set hot pots like at Boiling Point. Now, it's like Mongolian BBQ; but, instead of grabbing all of the ingredients you want and having it stir-fried at the end, they weigh it, charge you by the pound (only $17.99/lb.), and use the ingredients to make a hot pot with your choice of broth. A bowl of steamed rice accompanies the pot and there's a sauce bar.I don't know about you, but the thing I dislike about set hot pots is that they're always either missing something you want, including stuff you don't want, or the quantity of what you want is just off. Sure, AYCE places like Mo Mo Paradise address this, but Thai Hot Pot doesn't have lines (yet) and you'll be pretty full for around $20.This salad bar-type set-up for the ingredients will more than satisfy the cravings of most hot pot lovers. Thai Hot Pot has around eight types of mushrooms alone! Plenty of varieties of fish balls, fish cakes, and tofu to choose from. Fish, scallops, and shrimp? Yep- got those, too. The only knock would be that they don't have a big variety of sliced meats and don't have higher-end cuts/wagyu.I had the Thai Suki broth- a little pungent, a little sweet. My daughter had the Nam Sai broth- comforting and light with a nice umami chicken flavor. Both were delicious. My daughter was pretty full after her $21 serving and had leftovers. I took an additional full order home with me to enjoy tomorrow. I very rarely do that.We love making hot pot at home, but don't like the soup bases available, prep, cleanup, or limitations on variety of ingredients. Thai Hot Pot obviates all of this and the finished product is way better. Service is good and they keep everything wiped-down and clean. We'll be back soon. Bon Appétit!

This is a pay-by-weight Thai hot pot restaurant! It recently reopened with a different concept (it used to be a set menu of hot pot types like Boiling Point). It's very clean and new inside. I really like the pink and green color scheme and there are a lot of tables. It's owned by the same people who run Sweet Rice and Bowl Thai Grill and it's just a couple doors down from those restaurants. I went with a group of 3 on a Sunday night and it was pretty empty. The staff at the front was very helpful with explaining the concept and the different broth types. The buffet selection for hotpot ingredients was pretty vast. There were a lot of veggies, 8 types of mushrooms, a lot of noodles, many fish balls/tofu, and then a lot of seafood items. There were limited sliced meat options (like brisket or something), but they had oxtail, intestine, chicken feet, and marinated chicken and pork. Food:Thai Suki - I ended up piling on about 1lb of seafood, fish balls, noodles, and veggies and it totaled to around $20. They give you a bowl of rice on the side to eat with your hotpot too. It was a pretty good portion and everything was cooked well inside. I thought the large pot with the individual burner to keep it warm was a nice touch too. The broth I chose was a mix of tangy and savory. I also tried some of the Tom Yum and Tom Kha broths and both were excellent! Definitely have that kick of sour/tang, but the Tom Kha is more rich with the coconut milk.Overall, I really enjoyed this build-your-own hotpot place with unique and authentic Thai broths! Great service, decent pricing, and delicious food! Also, it helps that I love Sweet Rice and Bowl Thai Grill already, so another sister restaurant is a great addition!

Food quality is great! The marinated pork and lobster ball were super fresh and tasty. Left feeling full after spending around $20. Used to going to all you can eat hot pots but I really like this set up because it's easier to not over eat and to get to enjoy higher quality ingredients. Easier for going for quick lunch or dinner for sure. Fast and kind service. They still figuring things out so give them a try I can't wait to go back.

I was excited when this spot opened up for Authentic Thai Hotpot! It is perfect for the cold weather! The owner is same as the owner of the popular Thai restaurants close by- Sweet Rice and Bowl Thai. It is a different concept of Thai Hotpot. You get to pick what you want in it -including what type of noodles you prefer to be in it.This is ideal for people who have specific food preferences such as gluten-free. For $17/lb, you can add as many ingredients as you want. Imagine how excited I was when I say I got everything I wanted on my soup . The servings is big even for to-go. There's no other place place that makes Thai soups better than this place. Please support them in your community!
