Thai District delivered an outstanding dining experience with its incredible food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a stylish yet cozy Thai-inspired atmosphere, setting the stage for a memorable meal.We ordered the Green Curry, which was absolutely delicious--rich, creamy, and packed with fragrant spices. The balance of coconut milk, basil, and just the right amount of heat made it a standout dish.To top off an already fantastic meal, the desserts were amazing. Each bite was a perfect combination of sweetness and texture, rounding out the meal on a high note. Whether you're a fan of traditional Thai sweets or looking for something indulgent, the dessert selection does not disappoint.Service was impeccable--attentive yet unobtrusive. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with great recommendations. The pacing of the meal was just right, allowing us to fully enjoy each dish without feeling rushed.Overall, Thai District is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine. The combination of flavorful dishes, a welcoming ambiance, and excellent service makes it a place worth returning to. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant is very clean and quiet. It's kinda a small space, I recommend making reservations. We did however have to wait 15-20 minutes until after the time we reserved, but it was worth it.Food was great! It was my second time going here, I will be back to try more things!

Such a cute ambiance, decorated very nicely and love the low lighting. Service was fast and friendly. We got the potstickers which were delicious, the drunken noodles, and the panang curry. All were so yummy and fresh and great portions. Prices were also fair! Street parking only.

They definitely had a big menu and it was hard to choose what to get. We ended up ordering the drunken noodle with chicken & pineapple curry with beef. Don't get me wrong, there wasn't anything wrong with the drunken noodles but it kinda just okay to me. The pineapple curry was really delicious though! The flavors were just wow for lack of words. However, we were shocked that it didn't come with a bowl of rice instead we had to pay $3 for a bowl of rice.... I thought $3 for a small bowl of rice was a little bit excessive but oh wells. I'm not sure I would drive ALL the way out to LB to try this place but if you're in the area and craving thai I would come for their pineapple curry.

Came here a couple days ago with friends and had the kabocha curry, dessert wine from Portugal, and shared the coconut panna cotta and Thai District Churros. To start, the kabocha curry I ordered as medium or 2 on spice level, it was perfectly spicy and the kabocha made the curry sweet, but not overwhelming so. I enjoyed it with a side a Jasmine rice and dessert wine from Portugal, which was also sweet! The desserts were very delicious! The churros were made of pandan and came with a pandan dipping sauce! The panna cotta was sweet and came with ice cream and what tasted to be guava on top. I would come again just to eat dessert! Overall the food was delicious, the dessert was phenomenal, and the vibes were nice as well!

Superb Thai meal!Course 1: Thai District Chicken Wings6 large crispy wings drizzled with a savory slightly sweet sauce served with mixed lettuce. I wrapped bits of chicken in the leaves and went to town. They also had fried Kaffir Lime leaves. It was a little chewy at first, but I remembered that hill tribes in Northern Thailand promote eating leaves and the fibers are good for you, so I ate my Kaffir Leaves.Course 2: Pad Thai. It is my standard try for Thai restaurants. They gave me a choice of proteins. I chose to upgrade to the crispy fried pork belly because the region does fried meats well. I was not disappointed. The crispy skin and flavorful meat with just the right amount of fat was a perfect complement to the fresh lime over sweet-savory Pad Thai al dente noodles. I loved the light fried eggs scrambled and served with plump fresh bean sprouts.Dessert: Mango Sticky Rice. But it is an elevated Mango Sticky Purpose Royal Glutinous Rice, steamed warm. It is accompanied by mango that was ripe and still had a bit of tart. Coconut palm seed was a sweeter element and served with a light and refreshing sorbet.Service was immaculate. I felt the Sawadi welcome from every server and staff member. The decor and table dress were classy and beautiful. I dried my purple orchids to take home.I cannot wait to check out the Northern Thai dishes.

Thai District was one of the restaurants the concierge at the Westin recommended that was within walking distance. We were seated immediately and the restaurant was not super crowded. Loved the decor and statues. Service was friendly and efficient. We shared crab fried rice and the kabocha curry with tofu. Food was good but a bit salty. It seemed to have less flavor compared to Thai restaurants we frequent in northern CA. I also wish they included more pumpkin in the curry, as other restaurants we go to are more generous with the veggies and/or protein in their curries. Overall, a good Thai restaurant within walking distance from our hotel.

I happened to be in Long Beach for a conference and decided to grab some food for lunch. So we all agreed that we would stop by the Thai district to check it out. It was approximately about 7-9 of us so it was a fairly large group! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and ushered up stairs. However, it was the fact that the server seemed really overwhelmed with what he had going on. Not only that he was actively letting us know what was going on which was only creating additional frustration. A friend of mine described it as being exposed to the behind the scenes stuff that we didn't have to be. It was a very chaotic experience. I went back for a second day! The experience was 10/10 a much calmer experience. And the food was lovely. As a vegan I ordered the Thai crispy rolls and spicy fried rice. They have the options to get tofu or Tempe but I stuck to the traditional veggie fried rice. The food was hot and flavorful.
