Thai Chili Express

Dined in before ugly storm 2-13-25.So this place use to be called Thai Melody I think. And honestly have never tried it so my friend and I decided, why the heck not. After our Gardening Club meeting in Bellflower, we really wanted something tasty. And Aon was the sweetest person to serve us. She made great recommendations for our next visit. The lunch specials are THe BOMB. So much food for $12.95!! Can't beat it. The pad thai with pork was perfect noodles, not too sweet and balanced with fresh bean sprouts. And the pork was soft and tender, not hard. Yay! The soup with the meal was good too, they even added brocoli & carrots. Not much of the places we eat at ever get this nutritious. Lunch combo comes with an egg roll too. Oh boy! Crispy. My friend ordered the yellow curry and that was a lot of food as well. We both shared so we got to try it all. There are probably 6-7 tables to sit 4 ppl each. There was enough parking spots there next to the Laundry Mat. Bathroom is decent. Most of all the service was superb and food amazing. We are going to hit this place up for more thai food awesomeness!!

This used to a different Thai Spot, I don't know when it changed, but it was my first time trying and it was BOMB! My order was placed for take-out, but the cashier/server was super sweet and had a welcoming attitude. I don't doubt the dining in would be a great experience as well. I had the drunken noodles with chicken and for the price the portions were very generous! Pineapple fried rice was great, good amount of pineapples with chicken and shrimp. Last, but not least the chicken satay, basically a chicken skewer that was the best dish we had from there I'm sure there other satays are delicious as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Pretty solid option for a local Thai restaurant.Love the newly decorated store and friendly service. Price is also pretty reasonable. I got the drunken noodles today and it was pretty good. I'll be back to try their lunch specials next time.

I was looking for a new spot to try on my lunch break and after seeing the photos I decided to give this new spot a try. I'm glad it did! The food was delicious and the service was great. They were very attentive and friendly. Nice clean and cute ambiance. I'll definitely be back. Lots of food for the price too! I had drunken noodles and the egg rolls and a Thai tea!

Food is Good! This mom and pop Thai restaurant popped up as I was exploring what to eat for lunch. Had the Thai boat noodles and the crab fried rice. Both were tasty. The prices were reasonable and they give good portion size. Will definitely come again to try the other food they have to offer.

Used to come here when it was Jazz Melody but today was the first time I came here since it switched to Thai Chili Express. I ordered the papaya salad and the green curry. I'm saving the curry for tomorrow but had one bite and it's very flavorful! The papaya salad was good too. I got it mild and no shrimp and it was perfect! They gave lots of cabbage to eat with the papaya salad. The green curry doesn't come with eggplant like I was used to but the lady said if I want that in the future, to let her know and they will add it for me. So def will do that next time! Food was very good and I'm planning on coming back more often again. I forgot to take a pic of the curry but remembered to take one of the papaya salad

Hi guys! The food is really great here. There's a new owner and will change the name soon. Currently it says jazz melody Thai bbq on the sign. I had the chicken fried riced and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS! I recommend coming here. Good place to bring your family and friends!

Wowww this place is sooo good. The seafood rice is the best I ever had because it is very flavorful and the portion size is plentiful. The staff are also very friendly and the restaurant is cute, cozy, and inviting. I have had their food twice already and both times the food has been consistent. I recommend that you give this place a try!

We live 5 mins away and used to come here when it was called Jazz Melody Thai, and sadly that version of the restaurant started to suffer through new owners. We stopped going. Now known as Thai Chili Express, the food has really been fixed. The Green Curry is great. The soups are delicious and great for when you feel under the weather. The noodles and veggie dishes are on point and if you want spice, they'll give you spice. It's awesome and the people there are very nice. You should give this place another chance if you haven't been here in a while.

Ordered the lunch special drunken noodles. Delicious with great portion of food. Service is extremely friendly. I like the decorations in the restaurant, although we ordered to go. Will be coming to Thai Chili Express again!
