We found this restaurant on Yelp since we are in the area for a weekend away from San Diego. Rather than driving all the way to LA for good Korean food, we opted to find one around Orange County.Wanted to try new Korean dish that I haven't tried yet. I had three items I wanted to try but opted to go for the mini size bossam. Just heads up, there a little bit of a wait if you order the bossam. I was not sire if it was 15 minutes or 50 minutes. Since it was my first time trying this, it tasted great to me.Hubby ordered the hot pot bulgogi, which I thought tasted good but hubby didn't like it. We also ordered korean dumplings which we both liked. The "Unnie" barely speaks english but we really didnt mind. There is a drawer under the table where you can find the chopsticks, napkins & spoons. There are three different seasonings on the table (grounded sesame seeds, tiny shrimps & i can't remember the last one). They also provide you with a jug of cold barley tea upon sitting. Though i am not sure if this is free or not.It is very casual inside and can get a little loud when there are a lot of customers. To me it feels like this is an establishment that is frequented by korean transplants.I highly recommend this place.

i came in during lunch time and was seated right away! i loved the homey interior that reminded me of korea. the staffs were so friendly and sweet! i ordered from their recommendations and were not disappointed. their soondae has to the BEST in the area. so fresh, perfectly cooked with that mochi like texture. chewy and bouncy. their bossam was also delicious! no meaty smell and super soft. paired so well with their kimchi and wrap. definitely coming back!!

I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and our friend. We were seated immediately and the atmosphere is simple but homey. I ordered the Cold Buckwheat Noodles with Brisket and Radish. My boyfriend got the Bulgogi Noodle Soup. Service here was good and we didn't have any issues. I liked how the utensils were all in a drawer at the end of the table, I've never seen that before. The banchan was super tasty and we got a good amount. I especially loved their mashed potatoes here. My cold noodles were super chewy and the broth had a refreshing and clean taste. The brisket was a little on the dry side though. The radish was super fresh and crunchy. My boyfriend enjoyed his soup as well. It was a good and simple lunch.

Good service and the food is good. The serving lady are nice. The restaurant is fairly quiet compare to other restaurants.

Good sevice and good korean soup plus good price miss the soup. Will come again. Soon dae gook is good

I was craving something soupy so we ordered lunch here for takeout. I ordered the galbitang (beef short rib soup) which comes with glass noodle. The beef ribs were decent, though kind of wish they were easy melt off the bone. Flavor was decent, broth was pretty good.My hubby ordered the yukgae jang (spicy beef broth soup) which comes with glass noodle. The broth was flavorful, and there were plenty of veggies. My hubby liked that it wasn't too salty like other places.Overall, prices are decent. I was pleased to see that everything was packaged and boxed nicely, so you won't need to worry about soup "spilling." I only wish they had more variety of side dishes/ban chan besides just the daikon and kimchi. They accept credit cards and there's plenty of parking

A great meal to end the year! I wanted comforting food and this hit the spot. The soup was rich and filled with so much meat and noodles. It also came with a bunch of sides and rice. The food came out super quick and was a generous portion for the price. I would recommend the spicy one over the original because it added more flavor. My only concern is that it wasn't spicy like I was hoping.

The food was absolutely delicious, amazing, fantastic while the service was excellent with nice greetings.
