It was good. It just wasn't for me. Food was made quickly. Food was hot and tasteful but for me, I'm such a foodie and this tasted like any other taco spot. Service was good. The shrimp taco was good. They did not include my guacamole that was supposed to come with the taquitos (they called themFlautas). The four rating is due to the missing guacamole.

The tacos de Birria were amazingly delicious, we also got the flautas ahogadas, those were pretty good also. Definitely will try to go back and try other items that look good on the menu. It's a very small spot, this is not your regular spot to pick up burritos or tacos,. Service was very friendly.

TL;DR: 3/5 - Inconsistent food quality led to a decline in satisfaction with this spot. Friendly staff, but the seating is very limited inside and the outside is unappealing. Recommended only for those living nearby who aren't shy about sending food back as good days offer delicious food, but bad days result in nearly inedible meals.Yearning for more? 1/2This spot was once a favorite of ours, but it quickly fell out of favor due to inconsistency with the meat quality specifically. While some visits featured tender and delicious meat, others offered chewy and gross cuts. Three out of the four times I last visited were bad, so I just stopped coming by. Used to be our go to spot, we've been here at least 15 times.Expenses: 0/1The prices are on the higher side, which given the inconsistent nature of this location, makes it so that the food is not worth it to me on over half of the visits. Paying around 50-60 bucks for tacos/drinks for three people is too much of a gamble, not knowing if the meal will be a hit or a flop.Location: 1/1Service Quality: The staff has always been super cool, which makes leaving this review a bit painful. Sorry guys, nothing personal.Ambiance: The cramped location isn't my favorite and it is somewhat common to see homeless people smoking and making noise outside (which is why we don't like to eat here most times). Inside is more enjoyable but usually filled up. They have a large TV that is usually showing a football (soccer) match. Cleanliness: Clean tables are common here. Wait Time: There is usually a bit of a wait since this spot is usually somewhat busy, but never too long. About 15-20 minutes on average. Parking Situation: Plenty of free parking spaces available in a medium sized plaza with a liquor store and another Mexican food spot. Possibility of a Future Visit & Recommendation: 1/1For those willing to risk the inconsistent nature of this location as well as the divey ambiance, I would say the food is worth trying. I would just advise to eat here to make sure the quality is good. There is a park nearby if the limited seating is taken up or if the nearby liquor store patrons are a bit too unhinged. I will come back eventually, but this is no longer my go to spot.

I came here because the food looked appetizing in the pictures but boy, was I wrong. When ordering the flautas I asked the man working the register if everything that goes on top would be going on the side since I was ordering to go and I didn't want my flautas to be soggy. He clearly stated yes, it would be. I also ordered the tacos doraditos de birria. When I got home I was so livid because the toppings for the flautas were clearly not on the side and my flautas were completely soggy when I got home. My tacos "doraditos" were also completely SOGGY. I only live 6 minutes away so there is no way my tacos got soggy within 6 minutes. Overall, I would NOT come back here due to the service and quality of the food. I would not recommend coming here.

Takos has become our go to place during my son's soccer practice. I have gone 4 times now and it still makes me want more. I love their meats. My son loves their birria tacos. My husband loves their Al pastor fries. I love their flautas! The service is great! I know they struggle to speakTo me sometimes but so far I have not had any issues with my order! It's always right! And I order through the phone! Other places have messed up myOrder from apps! This place, always done right! Much appreciated! It's a small place tho with two tables outside. It's clean and the guys are super friendly! I'll be back takos! Count on it!

Fast service and fresh food! Everything was nice and hot. I got the popular Flautas Ahogadas and a Birria Taco for lunch. Came up to about 20 bucks. Everything was fire. Loved the beef and potato mix inside of the Flautas!

Hadn't had this place for a while and decided to try it again because of the flautas ahogadas. We placed an order to go for the flautas and a chicken quesadilla 8 takos and the surf and turf fries along side 2 aguas frescas a cucumber one and a jamaica. to start.... --the flautas ahogadas: Deliciosas!!!! they arrived warm and crispy. 3 very large flautas de pollo(chicken) well seasoned. the flautas were doradas (fried) to perfection, crispy as you bite in to them getting a wave of taste of their delicious pollo(chicken) filling combining together for a magnificent flavor bomb. Served alongside side of repollo ( shredded cabbage) and purple onions, dusted con queso( cheese). A very well put together plate. Oh and don't forget the star of the show, the amazing sauce that makes them AHOGADAS-- finger licking good.. An excellent tomato sauce with a very lite hint of heat. All this Will definitely satisfy the palate of any foodie. --Surf and turf fries The fries were just good. The asada(meat) lacked a tad in seasoning, as well as the shrimp. After a few sprinkles of salt they came together well. The plate arrived very warm(that's a good thing) All in all a well put together plate. Fries were good and the natural guacamole was good too. The asada can use more seasoning as well as the camarones. **side note: this place offers "Keto"options, so i can see why the meats might taste more of there natural taste. JUST add salt to your liking.. --Chicken quesadillaThis pollo(chicken) did not lack in flavor. the quesadilla was ginormous(also a good thing) and was very very tasty! --taKosThe takos were of a very good size. 2 takos can fill you up. 3 was a lot for me.. --aguas frescas.. They were just OK ( for my liking)-i wanted them sweeter and tastier) I did make adjustments at home.. we had the cucumber one and the jamaica. The service was efficient and polite. Will definitely be back to try the birria stuff.
