Tahini House Mediterranean Grill

Had been on the hunt for a new Mediterranean place to eat since moving in almost a year ago. Came across this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Ordered two chicken kebab plates with tzatziki and hummus (comes with a pita bread) and a side of fries. Portions were great, loved that they sprinkled some sumac seasoning on top so good! Great place for lunch/dinner with some small seating areas, and super clean. Definitely will be coming back! If I had to "ding" anything wish they offered more sides like potato salad or a Mediterranean salad (cucumbers, tomato, onions) and I wish they had a garlic sauce (Toum). Great place and we will definitely be coming back!

Food: 4*Service: 5*Ambiance: 3*Located in a strip mall easy to miss. Stopped by this place for lunch due to Yelp. I ordered the gyro lunch plate special with salad, tabbouleh, and hummus. The gyro was a deconstructed one with the gyro meat over a salad. Pita was on the side. The meat was good, the salad was tart and delicious. The pita was hard as a rock, no matter if I warmed it up or not. The tabbouleh was tangy and good, the hummus was creamy and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. in all, I would return again.

It was very good the first time we tried it. - Chicken very tender and well cooked- Rice tasted great- Hummus fresh However, the second time it was not as good. - Chicken had no flavor- Rice was too sticky/muchi- Hummus runnyI will wait a while before trying again. Hope they do well.

So happy to have a new Arabic restaurant in our neighborhood! We had dinner at Tahini House in La Habra and it was fantastic! The Hummus was great, the chicken flavorful and tender and the garlic sauce was spicy and delicious! I had the Chicken Kabab bowl and only finished half of it, there was so much chicken, veggies and Hummus. The garlic sauce was amazing. My husband had the Beef Shawarma plate and was practically licking the plate! My niece loved the Chicken Shawarma wrap! This place will be a regular spot for us!

YES, you should come here. Beef and chicken both tender and cooked perfectly.All the sides/ sauces were full of flavor and produce extremely fresh and crisp.

Got a chicken kabob plate with baba ganoush and tzaziki. Delicious! And it's a great new addition to local eats in the hood. Price wise, it's $14.99 and $17 after tax. Leaving $20 bucks with no change for togo because of the friendly employees. La Habra residents, go try this place out. One suggestion though is the pricing may not be able to steal business from chains like panini grill in brea or Cava on beach so maybe offer a free soda to plates.
