My boyfriend brought me to Yorba's at Wilmington and Opp for their excellent tacos al vapor. They didn't disappoint. We've been back a few times. I'm surprised that there isn't a line. I've had their tacos with different meats, burritos, and mulitas. The quality and flavor is consistent. I highly recommend them.

There are those days when the oddest things put a smile on your face. Tacos Yorba's Cabesa tacos turned what was promising to be a dreary afternoon to a delightful surprise. Pulled up to Home Depot in San Pedro to pick up some lumber when I spied Taco Yorba's truck and realized I could go for a couple of tacos. I hooked myself up with my favs: lengua and cabesa. I was running late so I hit them tacos hard. The lengua was good but maybe a bit over cooked; overall decent. The cabesa on the other hand was tender and juicy and a gastronomic delight. I paused, splashed more of their salsa verde and hit the second half of that taco in no time flat. I could've spent the afternoon none stop eating them tacos.Next time? Tripas and Chorizo

Hubby and I have been coming to Yorba's, but in Wilmas on Opp and Wilmington Blvd., for yeeeeeears. Once we tried their cabeza, we were SOLD. It really doesn't compare to ANY other cabeza I've ever tried at any food establishment. Only one that matches it, is homemade, and that's WORK. Call ahead, if you're in a hurry or come and order, they're always fairly quick to fill orders. They did get stingy years ago and stopped giving rábanos, they give pepinos instead. But, the cabeza is worth it. En taco, quesadilla, mulita, torta, psssh ANY way you have it, won't disappoint.
