I came here because I was looking to try some ceviche. I was greeted by the lady who works at the register. She was very nice and talkative. I ordered the ceviche, campechana and the mojarra to go. I was hoping to live this place but sadly all my food was no good. Mojarra was so over fried that I couldn't remove the meat off the bone. Rice and beans were good but I couldn't remove tell the beans were old beans. The campechana cocktail had more imitation crab than anything . It had big shrimp but hardly any octopus. Taste was ok. And the ceviche was just no good. I'm giving this place 2 stars only because the employee tees were nice!

We were in the area escaping the IE heat and enjoying the cooler weather in LB. My bf was craving mariscos and found this place through Google. We were given chips and salsa to start. Both were good and usually a good indicator that the rest of the food on the menu will be equally as good.He ordered the fish ceviche and I ordered the mixed seafood tostada. One thing we both noticed, were how largely sliced everything was. We're used to everything diced smaller for tostadas. We both also felt that our meals lacked flavor. Needless to say, we won't be returning. Our server was great though!

This is a classic neighborhood spot where you just know the food is good. In gen z fashion, it is where you can get your giant margarita, endless chips and salsa, and your sizzling fajitas (favorite gossip spot because its all booth seating) but it's executed so well in the respects of the culture. This means fajitas are not coming on a cast iron restaurant supply plate, it's coming in a heated molcajete. They are grilling their meat in the back. And not a lot of restaurants serve such an array of mexican food and still have caldo on the menu, but this place does and it gives it such a comforting vibe. Love this place so much. I know everything is good.

Was looking for good options for seafood in Long beach and this was one of the places that showed up on my yelp results. I went with the campechana. Unfortunately, it fell a bit short of what I expected. For the amount of liquid, the fish and other seafood in the plate was so dry and had very little flavor. The shrimp was ok but didn't sell the entire plate. The capechana came with some tostadas and some packaged hot sauce. I went with the campechana based on a recommendation from the woman on the counter. However, I don't think this particular plate highlights this entire restaurant. The tacos and other plates are also heavily featured on this page. Service was really friendly. I sat down and waited for my ordered and the woman on the counter topped off my Horchata while I waited

We went here 2 weeks ago because the average review was 4 stars, the cuisine was what we were in the mood for and it was close to an event at Terrace Theater. My fish dinner- I had to de-bone it myself, and I was not forewarned. So get fish tacos or fried fish if you don't enjoy that. The rice and beans that came with were very basic. I did enjoy their spicy housemade salsa. My BF got the seafood cocktail and ceviche- he said it was 'OK.' This man samples ceviche everywhere he goes, so that was a shocker to hear. The coke machine was on the fritz, and maybe that's why my ice water tasted terrible. It was 6pm, and the restaurant was mostly empty. A couple people came in to dine or pick up while we ate. I do have to say this restaurant is run by a friendly, attentive husband and wife team, and therefore, I was hesitant to post my misgivings. But the 4 star average has been bugging me, so there you have it.

DELICIOSO! Vinimos a calmar cruda con un 7 mares y nos fuimos más que satisfechos. Pociones grandes, sabor muy muy rico, mucha variedad y la atención de la señora Blanca fue la mejor. Muy recomendado este lugar.

Do NOT buy ANY of the seafood! The cook, who looks like Edward James Olmos' left one, does not remove the fecal veins from the shrimp. He once gave me a hot soup for a shrimp cocktail! Shrimp cocktails are served cold! I used to order the shrimp cocktail at least once a week, from 2021 to 2022. I never order their hot food anymore because...it is not Mexican food. It is food straight from cans. Literally. I HAVE SEEN THE OWNER, a heavy-set man that looks like the bassist for the Mexican band Bronco, buying gallon sized cans of refried beans from the local Smart N' Final! Back in 2016, I ordered a carne asada burrito only to find that the meat looked more like shriveled cow's guts or ground beef, than steak. Hahaha. As a Mexican, I am embarrassed that this restaurant exists.

This place feels like home. The mixed fajitas were delicious and flavorful. My friend ordered the camarones a la diabla and she asked for them not that spicy and they delivered. The waitress/owner was a doll. She was attentive and had excellent customer service. Would go back if I'm ever in the area again.
