I've been to their original location or truck in the bordering area of Long Beach before. This is my first visit to their new brick and mortar spot. I loved their food so I knew I was in for a treat. But it's also nice to have the atmosphere or vibe of coming into a lively taqueria such as this place. Not only is their service very friendly and they operate very efficiently here, I am happy to report. The food is just as great as the original location. They also have a DIY salsa and toppings bar here.I ordered the chorteada de mixta (asada y adobada) and the pellizcada de adobada. Both items were just so delicious and a great mix of flavors and textures. Both of the items were just so well presented as well and they certainly didn't skimp on the toppings. I mean the food here is really such a treat. The parking is really easy as well because the lot of the strip mall is pretty large

Meats seem to lack flavor. This is like my 3rd time here. Today I ordered two tacos (asada and adobada). Both were pretty bland. When I got my tacos, they didn't put any salsa in there and only 1 quarter of a lime. The salsa bar did have containers, but no lids. Luckily I checked my bag before leaving and had to ask for salsa. The next strike is that they put the salsa in a bolsita which is just ridiculous in 2025. Overall, the hype is NOT real. They're good/ok tacos, but not sure how they won LA Times awards.

Legit tacos, superb sauces and above and beyond service! 10/10I called in my take-out order and was blown away by the hefty bag I received. They had included bags of all the sauces and roasted toppings I could ask for. The service on-site was welcoming and efficient. The food itself was flavorful and the sauces were each unique with varying levels of spice.

This place has made it into my top 5 of places to get tacos at in LA. I would drive 2 hours from the San Fernando Valley just to eat here, it was that good. Not many times that I've bit into something that made me say "oh my god" because of how amazing it tastes. I got the torto de asada which is like a tostada and a choreada mixto de pastor y asada which is like a quesadilla. I really wanted to try their pellizcada's but they were sold out for the day, oh well, next time! I also got their cebada drink which the cashier basically said is made out of wheat. She recommended I get half cebada and half horchata and I'm glad I did, because it tastes like horchata salvadoreña de morro after I mixed both. Delicious! There is a good amount of seating inside I'm surprised this place doesn't have a line out the door since I came during dinner time on a Friday!

This place hits different, as its Sinaloa, Mazatlan style tacos. They definitely come through with their own unique flavors and vernacular. At first glance some items on the menu were unfamiliar as I needed some help understanding. I wasn't the only one, as it seemed there were plenty of questions from other customers. In the end they use mainly minced cabbage to top off their tacos instead of the typical cilantro/onion, which I actually enjoyed it. They also showcase Adobada and tripas as a mainstay. All good with me, all was fresh, tasty and delicious. They do not skimp you on the meat, as the servings are plentiful. Overall, it was a nice treat and we have gone 3x in the last month :) so that says alot. The place is busy, and the prices are decent. I highly recommend if you want something a little different. We love the tacos, tripas plate, and the burrito packs the meat. Definitely a good to spot.

The light aroma attracted me to come try this Taco place while I was nearby at another shop. A small restaurant that seemed to be kept well cleaned at first . The tables stay dirty for a good amount of time after someone gets up and leaves ( seems everyone has to clean their own table) . I tried ordering a burrito with no beans and rice, but they said THEY HAD TO sell it like that. So, I thought then I'll just have them put it on the side, but that was a no as well. Went with the asada torta and a vampiro Taco instead. The price is ok for the quality of meat. For me personally, the carne asada lacked flavor and it was not soft when chewing. The salsas were good, but not sure if the guacamole is made from instant powder or freshly made in house. This Taco place has its simplicity , but I didn't think the food matched their prices on the menu.Overall, I wouldn't be in a hurry to come try this place again, but if it's the only thing opened late at night, I might.

So i waited to review this place when i actually came in to eat here vs ordering a torta to go last time.. FYI, dont order any bread products with hot meats to go.. They dont travel well.So this time i went during the lunch hour. The place itself is small, so the line was out the door. I ordered two flour tortilla tacos (tripa, adobada) and a jamaica to drink. Wife ordered a loaded baked potato with asada. Tacos were good. The tripa was better than the adobada as i think that one lacked flavor. There a good size for $4.75 each. I didnt try the baked potato but wife said she wouldnt order it again. Was missing sour cream which they dont have. Also price for one was $14.All in all, im glad theres a decent taco place nearby with a letter grade on there door vs a street taco cart/tent..

I'll start by saying this have been the most authenticSinaloa style tacos I have tried in a while or at least around the LA area. Their meat selection is simple just three meats : Asada , Adobada & tripas I tried all three of the meats so I could give you guys my recommendation on which one was the best. To be honest, I highly recommend their Asada. It is tender, super delicious, well flavored and pears perfectly with either a corn tortilla or a flour tortilla.I also tried their Pellizcada Which is like an oversize sope. The Torito is a flour tortilla with your choice of meat and a Anaheim chili with cheese. Now to my favorite taco on their menu, which is the CHORREADA taco. it is a crunchy tortilla with pork rinds and cheese and your choice of meat. Believe me when I tell you, this is the perfect taco absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. The restaurant itself it's pretty small with just a couple tables inside, but the place is super clean and very well organized. Service here is always great. All the staff are super friendly and always in a great mood. You can feel the positive energy when you walk in.
