Tacos El Banquetazo

10 stars baby!! Yelpers did not fail this time. I came here on a Tuesday and did the Taco Tuesday for $1 tacos and did myself solid by ordering 8 al pastor tacos. They had 3 guacs and 4 types of diced salsas. All amazing. I will return next time for the burrito, but couldn't resist the dollar tacos on Tuesday. The al pastor is amongst some of the best I've had. And I'm a mad Mexican food connoisseur because I've consumed millions of tacos and burritos.

very good al pastor. tortillas aren't homemade but still soft and chewy. carne asada is fine. tacos are two biters. quesadilla large. open late. few stools to sit on otherwise just stand around or eat on your car. hits the spot.

I remember getting tacos from this place when they first set up shop a couple years ago! I visit the location on Atlantic and Anaheim and this place has become one of if not my favorite taco stands. Rice and beans are bomb! They offer lots of salsas and toppings! The taco meats are flavorful and delicious. The Asada is made on the grill! The Tacos are $1 on taco Tuesdays! The service is friendly and hardworking. If you plan on getting tacos on Tuesday from this spot I recommend coming a little after they open cause there will be a huge line! Shout out to these guys, they work very hard and produce good food.

IMO one of the best, if not the best, taco stand in the Signal Hill/lakewood area. I've tried many taco spots around East Long Beach, including downtown/wrigley, Belmont heights, outter traffic circle, and signal hill, but by far, El banquetazo has made a good impression on me. We found this spot coming back from the mall one night and gave it a shot. Parking can be weird because it's at the corner of a diagonal, but you can park in the dental office parking lot. The guys running the stand are friendly and get your order out fast. They accept zelle, cash app, venmo, and cash. They have horchata, jamaica, pineapple, lemonade,canned/bottled drinks, and sometimes champurado. Around the summer, they had champurado, but they told us it wasn't very popular, so they stopped selling it. Now that cold season is here, they may have brought it back. (Will update.) The carne asada is really good! Not greasy but not dry and flavorful. The chorizo is also not greasy and not salty but you can really taste it. Al pastor is great, and I don't usually get that kind of meat. I haven't tried the rest of the meats yet because I just love asada so much. I will try the rest next time I'm there. Tortillas aren't tiny and stale like other spots, and you get your tacos hot. They have your usual toppings you can add like salsa, onions, lime. My favorite is the red onions with habanero mixed in. They also offer grilled onions and jalapeños over by the grill. As far as seating, they only have 3 or 4 stools you can use, or you can take it to go. I like to eat in the car and come back for round 2. Respect the spot. Don't burn it and clean up after yourself if you eat in the lot. Torta was $9, tacos are $2 and $1 for taco tuesdays! I definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area or if you've already tried everything else and it just won't do.

I wanted some good street tacos...Wow!! This little taco stand has incredibly flavorful & authentic food! I got 3 chicken tacos & a Jamaica to go. As the tacos were cooking I got little containers of onions, cilantro & Verde sauce from the condiment table & by the time I was done, my tacos were ready! Delicious, fast meal for $10. The taco stand is well lit at night & parking was convenient on a Saturday night. I was able to park right in front.Unfortunately, I was so hungry that I inhaled those tacos so fast & forgot to take pictures until it was too late! Definitely recommend!!

If I can give them a 0 I would. I literally just left there and we gave our food away. PLEASE BE AWARE!! And ALERT!! They touch the raw chicken with gloves, then touched the tortillas and cheese, flipping everything is same gloves. THEN they flipped my husband's mulitas with the spatula he was flipping the raw chicken, AND a piece of raw chicken was on the spatula while he flipped it. How does this place not notice d that. Ugh waited 30 minutes and paid my food. Sadly I couldn't eat it!!! Man what a disappointment to everyone waiting and not caring about these things!

Great pastor and carne asada tacos. These guys are super friendly and pack your to-go order well. It's hard to find good $1.00 Tuesday tacos nowadays.

Best street tacos in all Long Beach. Hands down recommend this tacos. Come every Tuesday for their $1 special

I call this place "Ol' Reliable" because I can always rely on them for making great tacos!! Their tortas are also top tier. They are consistent, affordable, and fast! They accept cash or zelle/venmo :)
