I was sick and in need of clear broth. I decided on sizzling rice soup as it's a childhood fafavorite of mine. I took it to go with some fried rice for the kids. In my 30 minute drive home the soup stayed steaming hot and it was extremely comforting. The kids liked the fried rice. I will definitely be going back for more sizzling rice soup!

Six of us from our office had lunch on Jan 23rd. The place was empty around lunch time. We walked in and most of us wanted to leave because no one was there and that can be a bad sign...but since he saw us we stayed then he sat us down. As we looked at the menu the owner started yelling at us about this and that and that he's been there for 42 yrs and couldn't afford any staff. Then he kept saying if we don't like it "Get Out!" Again, most of us wanted to walk out by that point but did not. 3 or 4 of us had the Szechuan style beef and the others i don't recall. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food but my medium spicy wasn't spicy at all. The food portion for the price was ridiculous, $20 per plate and i was still hungry. We paid and as we walked out, there in the corner on a little piece of paper was a TAKE OUT ONLY sign written all sloppy. Perhaps someone should put that sign out front so people know instead of complaining to customers. Later at the office I told the receptionist and she said she used to eat there with coworkers 10-15 yrs ago that they would call him Mr happy, to that I said, "well he ain't happy no more!"

Ate here (to go) for the first time based on Yelp reviews and Nextdoor app reviews. Since it's been there since 1985 I figured it must be good. And I was not disappointed. It was pretty good. Not fantastic, but pretty good. Tried the mu shu chicken, tangerine chicken, and chicken chow mein. The portions are huge and cooked to order. The mu shu was very good but could use a little more plum sauce. Never had tangerine chicken before and it was pretty good. The white meat chicken was not overly coated in flour (a good thing) and it had nice flavor. The chow mein noodles were cooked perfectly but could use a little more flavor and a few more veggies. Overall, satisfied enough to come back and try something else off their huge menu. Also a shout out to the Mom and Pop businesses like this and the aunti provided warm, gracious service.

Been coming here since I was 8. Hasn't changed a bit and honestly I'd be sad if it did. Lemon chicken always tastes fantastic. Chow mein and fried rice are always more savory than anything remotely nearby. It's the best Chinese food outside of SGV and Chinatown hands down.The owner greets every customer happily like old friends and it's refreshing in this day and age.

Food is very weak and the atmosphere of the restaurant is even worse. Prices are high and do not match the food tier of this restaurant. At 14-17$ a plate customers should expect much much more. The service is also terrible and expect a rude greeting and dismissal. Would not return.

Can't recommend this place ... sorry! The food was terrible. Oily and bland! And the place itself is gloomy! If I want to eat at a restaurant it should give a good ambiance so I can enjoy my food. It's pricey too! And the portion is not that big to share. The old lady who greeted me was nice but I want more for my money!

Best Chinese food EVER!!! If you want that old timey vibe, a little on the pricey side but totally worth it. Orange chicken is the best orange chicken you'd ever tried. He's gotten awards for it. But definitely a must try.
