Not many choices for Dim Sum in the South Bay Area but this place has been here forever. Haven't been for a while but decided to stop by Saturday around noon. We were seated quickly and the place was crowded in the front area. The larger dining area in the back had a couple large tables occupied. The place looks old but that's ok because it is. On the weekends they have dim sum carts. Got a bunch of dishes and everything was solid. Will definitely come back when I'm craving dim sum and don't want to drive out to East LA.

Came here early one weekend for dim sum. Food was pretty much all Cantonese dim sum and it was very good. Big restaurant, easy parking in the back. I'd eat here again for sure.

When you're in a pinch, are craving dim sum, and don't want to drive out to 626, Szechwan will satisfy your itch. Located right on PCH, there's ample parking in the back. The restaurant is spacious and is able easily handle large parties. There's even private dining rooms available as well. The service is hit-or-miss depending on your waiter but I would say everything takes a while. Sure, the food comes around on carts but asking for water or anything off the menu takes a while. The food itself is decent. You have your typical dim sum items (shumai, har gow, chicken feet, baos, etc...) that are average at best. The flour wrapper on some of the items are too thick/tough and stick to each other. In terms of value, this place is surprisingly pricey. Our bill for a party of 2 came out to almost $80! Sure we might've over ordered since we came in starving but wow!

This long standing business was one of our regular go to restaurants when we lived in the South Bay. Located on the corner of Oak and PCH this establishment is in an older building. Ample parking available in the back. We visited on a Sunday night, seated right away and given hot tea, water, and menus. Service provided is great -- attentive but not overbearing! They say, humans don't like change and whoever 'they' are, they're right! We ordered our usual that we've been ordering since the early 2000's -- beef and broccoli; four season chicken; hot braised shrimp; and chicken chow mein. My absolute favorite is the hot braised shrimp! It's packed with flavor, kinda spicy, but tolerable for those who don't like spicy. The beef in the beef and broccoli is thinly sliced, not like that thick, this seems kinda like fake beef you'd get at Panda. Carrots and snow peas are included in the beef and broccoli, along with the beef and broccoli lol. Everything is made, to me, exactly how it was in the early 2000's and again with the they say, don't change what ain't broken! They offer lunch specials but since we were there for dinner our items are served family style. Generous portions and it's always a good idea to order more so you have left overs for the next day!

Our friends recommended dim sum here after we played pickleball nearby. What a surprise to find a Canto dim sum gem in the city of Lomita. It is also rare to still see workers pushing dim sum carts too! We got all our favorites such as shrimp dumplings, siu mai, bean curd rolls, rice rolls, egg tarts, sesame balls, BBQ pork buns etc. Everything was delicious and steaming hot. The workers were friendly and refilled our ice water a couple times as well. It wasn't too crowded on a recent Saturday afternoon and we were seated right away. Definitely recommend this dim sum spot if you are in the South Bay area.

Ok I have an issueI do not have an issue with paying a lot of money for good food. What I do have an issue with is being charged on a take out dinner for something you get FREE when you eat in. That is BS! And as long as I'm mad, is there any other Chinese food restaurant that doesn't give you rice with your entree??

We had a large group of about 40 and were able to sit in the large dining room which is nice because they have really large tables so a lot were able to fit at each one. All the food that came out was so good, but I think my favorite was probably the sweet and sour chicken! We had a variety of items and they all came out super quick one after another. All the workers were super friendly and helpful! I definitely will be coming back!

The food is tastes really good here, authentic and deep flavors. We ordered the Peking duck, mushu pork, black bean fish, Kung pao chicken, and snow pea leaves. My favorite was the Peking duck, extremely crispy skin and delicious, I would go back and order just this. We used to come here every week, but it's been many years and the food quality is still great. The portions are huge as well, def worth it.
