STEPH JUDGEMENT: Nice chill brewery with friendly people and decent beers. The last time I was here it was still Timeless Pints, which I used to frequent when I worked in the area. The decor had changed, but the place still felt familiar. It was very mellow on a Wednesday evening, which was fine with us. We were there to meet up with a friend and I decided on a flight, as I always do when visiting a brewery for the first time.I got:562 hazy Golden Lighthfoot Golden AleLatch hook Jesus American lager Jerk lessons west coast ipa The hazy was quite good and my favorite, and the rest were fine, if not totally memorable. Hubby: smells like friendship Amber lager (seemed a little more bitter than expected)No food truck on this night. With so many good breweries in town I can't say this is a destination-type place for us, but If someone wanted to meet here again I'd have no problems coming back.

This is a difficult review to write. Mostly because, I loved Timeless Pints, the brewery that Syncopated purchased and sent TP owners Chris and Mary into retirement (hoping? Hi C and M, hope you are well!). As a loyal TP fan, a TP fanboy?... I wanted to NOT love Syncopated, the place that took MY PLACE away. My "Cheers". Freaking Stacy! How can I POSSIBLY like the space WITHOUT her???Except: the beer, the ambiance, the patronage, the food at Syncopated. All five stars. As a beer drinker, the variety rates 5/5. As a dark beer aficionado, Syncopated is as good as it gets in LBC. 'Coffee Pants' is extraordinary. Coffee and vanilla notes and smooth as H-E-double hockey sticks, at 7.3% - as close to a perfect coffee porter as you'll find in Long Beach. Or So Cal. Or Anywhere. In the mood for a less dark but strong brew? Go Five 6.2 Hazy IPA (yes, 6.2%) or Jerk Lessons West Coast IPA (6.7%). Both very good.Food: Sync doesn't make their own, but they do invite food trucks regularly and there are lots of delivery options nearby which they welcome. Recommend Me-N-Ed's pizza, just expect a 45-60 minute wait. Order when you get there.Overall... I was not looking forward to writing this, but I was compelled (by Coffee Pants?) to do so. Try Syncopated. They will not disapoint.

First time visit, odd location but great cold beer, friendly atmosphere. Occasional Fridays nights they have a band playing great rock n roll oldies.

Fun spot to grab a drink. Hands down my go to brewery. Beer is delicious, staff is amazing and they have fun things to do. Skee ball is free, board games to play, Darts are cheap to play. They have bands a few times a month and foot trucks most nights.

My first visit to Syncopated Brewing was for the 2024 Brewery Relay hosted by Downtown Runners LB. The race took us to different breweries in Long Beach with the ultimate finish line at Syncopated. There was an amazing DJ, a food truck, sponsor booths... it was a high-energy atmosphere and a LOT of fun! I saw that the brewery hosted a comedy night on the third Friday of every month, so invited two friends to check it out with me. I was hoping for a livelier crowd, but there were about a dozen of us there for the show. The comedians were good and had us laughing. I'm not a big beer drinker, but I enjoyed a very crisp and refreshing Lakewood Lemonade (wheat beer, 4.8% ABV). I would definitely order it again! I really like the open outdoor space of this brewery + easy parking. I hope there are more people there on my next visit.

A Boozy Symphony in the Temple of BrewsSyncopated Brewing Company, a haven where the elixirs of gods flow, beckons the weary souls seeking respite from the mundane. Here, amidst the clash of flavors and the crescendo of laughter, one finds a kaleidoscope of beers that would make even the most seasoned palate raise an intrigued eyebrow. For a humble man like me, a Coors Light aficionado, it's a true voyage into uncharted territories, a testament to the craft of brewing.Unveiling their taps, Syncopated presents a symphony of unusual flavors, each note played with precision and a touch of whimsy. A harmonious cacophony of tastes awaits the adventurous soul who seeks liberation from the mundane brews of mass production. But fear not, fellow Coors Light devotees, for even in this vibrant tapestry of craft brews, a light lager finds its place. A nod to simplicity amidst the complexity, like a brief respite in a tempestuous sonata. As the libations flow, so does the mirth and revelry. Syncopated Brewing Company is not merely a place to sip fermented nectars but a sanctuary of amusement. The games, oh the games! Board games whisper secrets, shuffleboard invites friendly rivalry, and pinball machines, if fortune favors the whimsical gods, dance with delight. And on certain days, pickleball takes over the very parking lot, a boisterous battle of paddles and pickle balls, laughter echoing through the air.Yet, amidst this carnival of diversion, a humble suggestion emerges. A couple of televisions, a portal to the world of games and glory, would be a welcome addition. For those days when the sporting gods vie for our attention, a screen to share in the triumphs and defeats would complete this bastion of leisure. But fret not, for even without this modest amenity, Syncopated Brewing Company remains a victor in its own right. So, my fellow wanderers of libation, if you seek an adventure where the taste buds are challenged, where laughter mingles with the clatter of tokens, Syncopated Brewing Company is a symphony you must partake in. Raise your glass to the daring brewmasters, toast to friendship, and revel in the games that paint the canvas of this vibrant temple. With a slight nod to simplicity, this haven for craft brew connoisseurs embraces all who seek a sip of life's intoxicating pleasures. Cheers to Syncopated Brewing Company, a true marvel in the realm of ale!

They had a couple nice beers. I like stouts and they had a good one. A bit noisy cuz it's at the end of the LB Airport runway. And 3rd Sundays, they typically have Pickleball and Pints event. That's why I went!!

Very, very kind service. I think the beers taste great! An average brewery size, small with a little porch area. Indoor decor is super cool! Had the Sailor's Legs (strong), Coffeemaker (a little lighter), and Brown Ale. All very good stouts and dark beers!Parking is limited.
