Sushi West

I have to update/change my rating because my recent experiences were not as good as before.Recent Cons:- Food is not ready on time. - One time, I was on hold for 35 minutes AFTER they hung up on me once already. I was still on hold when I arrived at the restaurant to order in person. - Quality of their Sesame Chicken (threw out the whole thing), Sashimi and the rolls also went down. I hope they'll improve because I used to really like this place.

I arrived today at 3p.m. and was warmly greeted by the cashier. I ordered Combo 7, which included salad, rice, three pieces of sushi, chicken teriyaki, gyoza, and miso soup. A gentleman--whom I believe was the owner--took a moment to thank me for coming in, which I found truly appreciated.

A great local, Japanese spot. They have sushi, sashimi, rolls, and combo plates for a decent price!

We really enjoyed this quaint restaurant tucked in the middle Bixby Knolls. We split the Wave combo, which contained 6 nigiri of 3 different fish, all were great cuts, and a roll of your choosing. Then the create your own combo where we got the must have sesame chicken, tempura mix and spicy salmon roll. Everything was great! On top of the great food, the staff was friendly and was constantly cleaning the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Yummy food, great portions, we love the combo menus which allow you to try a bit of everything.

A great quick spot to satisfy your sushi cravings! The combo was the perfect amount of food. They also offer lots of cooked Japanese food dishes too.

My favorite sushi spot in Long Beach. Never disappoints and you got a lot of food for your money. Plus the sushi comes with a beautiful flower.

OMG!!! This Japanese Restaurant is an outstanding gem of delicious quality combined with excellent service. The Udon Sukiyaki & the Vegetable tempura is out of this world!!! Service was great the owner greeted the dining room to make sure the guest were satisfied and content and with a recipe so good we immediately nodded yes.We will most definitely be back and I even took a Sukiyaki Udon to my mother. My Favorite Sushi in Long Beach. The Fish is So Fresh!!! Salmon Tastes like gold everytime!!! The Owner is so cool too!!! I love here
