This establishment is entirely unique.The owner, Song, is involved and present.The staff are courteous and respectful.The vibe is unmatched. I have been eyeing this spot for a while and finally able to try it with a friend. Wow, I was quite impressed. Service was absolutely wonderful for a small place. Luckily on a mid-week visit they weren't to busy and therefore we were not rushed.The quality of each dish was wonderful. Portions were sizable. They had some unique dish options that hit the spot and made them stand out verse other sushi spots.A cozy little place located at the end of the bustling 2nd street area. Parking was relatively easy mid-week, however weekends would be a challenge.Among all the wonderful sushi spots in Long Beach, this spots definitely competes. Nice to enjoy another gem within the city. I will be keeping this one in the rotation.

Location: 2nd street, corner spot facing the major Street. It has a big "at" character, naturally lol Menu: sushi, rolls, carpaccio, udon, salads, few skewer selections, beers, sashimi, miso soup We pigged out and there were no regrets. I can't remember everything but we got aloha roll, "spring" roll, blue fin carpaccio, sheseido peppers, cucumber crab salad, sushi, and beersThis place did everything very well. Very content. Parking: street Seating: mainly indoor seating but I think I saw a few spots on the patio. Good for smaller groups like 2-4. But I can see a group of 6+ could still fit.

This is still mine and my husband's favorite sushi spot out of all the other sushi places in Belmont Shore! They have the freshest sushi. We pretty much order the same thing every time we're here.... Yellowtail/Albacore carpaccio, blue fin tuna sashimi, salmon skin hand rolls and for their fresh rolls, we get Candy, Aloha, Paradise, Long Beach and Hot night. My hubby likes to wash it all down with a Sapporo and me, a mango Nigori sake. We love the cozy and casual ambience. And not to mention the wonderful service from Mr. Song and his crew!

The Sushi rolls and hand rolls were so fresh and yummy. We ordered two hand rolls - one tuna and the other house spicy which is a combo of tuna, imitation crab and crunch. I preferred the house spicy. For the rolls we ordered the Hot Night and the baked albacore roll. The baked roll was set on fire when served and it took a minute or so to stop. The rolls hit my sushi craving! Wait time was only 5 min at 6:15pm on Friday and service was attentive. It was a nice date spot because it wasn't noisy like a lot of places on 2nd and there was generous space between tables. I would like to return to try more rolls and their oyster shooter.

this review is WAY over due! ive been coming to @sushi for years hands down one of my top sushi spotsvibes are low keyservice is greatfood is fresh and delicious!!!we opted to sit in their "patio" which consists of maybe 3-4 bar stools we get to have our dog stroller and ppl watch while enjoying our sushiwe visited on a sat about 30m after they had openedi already knew what i wanted to order bc literally this is the only place that has this roll wrapped in egg -GARLIC EDAMAME-french kiss (deep fried salmon, cream cheese, avocado in egg wrap)-baked salmon (baked salmon, crab with avocado)-california roll-fatty salmoneverything came out pretty quickso delicious their tempura rolls are pretty tasty too **drooling** parking: street or metered lots
