Sushi Bullet

The first time I went to this food truck, their rolls were good and tasted fresh, but this time I got their daily special of bluefin tuna hand roll for $6 (their rolls are usually $4). What was weird was that I was the first customer bc they just arrived at my apartment complex, but when my bf tried to get one too, the woman taking orders said I got the last one. Well, the first thing I noticed is that the vinegar in the rice was overdone compared to the rolls my bf got. Then we noticed the tuna looked brown, and finally tasted the tuna by itself, which tasted off. It feels like they were trying to cover up the bad tuna taste with more rice vinegar or something. It's disappointing because this one is a more special/expensive roll but it tasted worse than the normal ones. If you really want to go here, just stick with their normal rolls. Otherwise they might give you old fish. Ugh

The hand rolls are good and very affordable! Great service too, there was a large order ahead of mine so they offered to send me a text when my order was ready. Would definitely visit this truck again!

We had Sushi Bullet as our sole caterer for our Christmas party. The format was to have each person order what they wanted individually and then come and go as we're hungry. The sushi and poke were tasty, and came out in a timely manner. Since they were catering for us, we were also able to talk after and during service hours. It wasn't a brown nosing or sucking up conversation, it was like we were talking with friends. They were open to suggestions and criticism, friendly, polite, and down to earth. I'm happy they were our caterer and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

It's awesome. The employees are friendly and fun. The food is awesome . The rolls are delicious. If you like sushi ,I think everyone should give this Bullet a try.

We were so excited to see a sushi truck outside our apartment complex. Unfortunately, this was the worst sushi experience ever. First, they informed us after we had placed our order that they had run out of rice. How unprepared can they be? They had only been there maybe an hour and already out of rice (they weren't even busy to justify it). We waited almost an hour before getting our order.Second, they informed us that they accidentally forgot to charge us for a roll. They proceeded to charge us for the roll, though they should have just let it go since they made us wait an hour for our food. Third, the sushi was gross. The tuna was NOT FRESH! We ordered a lobster roll which was just smothered in mayo and tasted off. We didn't finish our sushi and after all that wait we were left starving. I do not recommend. Just no.

I found this wonderful food truck at various locations, and personally had their Negitoro bullet (tuna and green onion). It was delicious and a great value. I highly recommend checking out their website to see where they'll be located! If you're a fan of sushi, you'll definitely love it here!

If all they sold were California rolls they would have 5 stars all day. Tired the mayo lobster, spicy tuna and shrimp tempura roll and they all fell short. The wait time for your food is too long and not worth it.
