So it saddens me to leave this poor review, buts it's my truth and experience at Sushi 21.First and foremost the older lady, I believe she is the owners wife!?! Quite frankly the best resting B face, that I have ever seen, it literally should be in the dictionary with her face right on it.She is the topic of most reviews and well deserved! She is in my humble opinion, going to be the downfall of what used to be the best sushi restaurant that I have ever eaten at! Her attitude towards the customers, whom pay her bills is F'N disgusting and Appalling! Her husband needs to talk to his wife regarding this matter. He will lose his business over this.....She will definitely call you out if, she thinks that you did not tip enough! I'm talking loud and embarrassing and will have no problem even following you out the door. It's total BS!As a customer, you have every single right to give feedback and my way is with tip regarding service. If it sucks and you feel neglected and over looked, why would I tip you???You didn't do your job and so, you should not be tipped! PERIOD!I have spoken to the owner regarding his wife's behavior and to no avail!So I stopped going. I'm not going to get abused by anyone no matter how good the food is. My Advice........Try it, if you don't believe the yelp reviews!But we ALL can't be lying about this restaurant and the service.

Been coming for years.. but I don't think i will return.. I can overlook the green tea tasted funky.. the gyoza.. that came in a puddle of grease.. I can deal with the flavor of my food not tasting as fresh as iit used to.. but.. i cant deal with moody mean scowl faced service.. she charged for 2 drinks when it was just me.. and wanted to argue about it? the ambiance is not great .. u feel like u walked into a storage room on the left and not comfy seating. I've been waiting for them to upgrade the seating.. truly.. has been sliding down hill for a while..The elder woman.. should not be providing service. She's not friendly.. can't take your order right.. and then wants to argue.. when you want to correct it. I miss Cindy.. she was a great server.. but I havnt seen her the last few times I came.. Think I will take my sushi cravings elsewhere RIP SUSHI 21..you used to be great

As someone who used to eat here regularly (before I moved outta CA), I've had just about every special roll on their menu, and they were all tasty, fresh, and served up fast. They treat their regulars well, even if it's been a while since they've been back--I visit every time I'm in town, which is once a year or so. If you're unsure where to start, GET THE LAS VEGAS ROLL. I've tried many other restaurants' versions of battered, deep fried California rolls, but Sushi 21's puts them all to shame. You'll see what I mean.

We were staying at the motel next door and thought we'd give it a try. It was a pleasant surprise and definitely proves the adage "Don't judge a book by its cover." The inside decor isn't remarkable but the food and service are!We were greeted promptly and sat quickly. Service was efficient and friendly. We were well taken care of. The menu while busy was jam packed with lots of options and many standard favorites. The food was delicious and satisfying with good presentation.I would highly recommend checking this place out for a great meal and experience with pricing that is reasonable.
