Sunny Donuts

Came in and was immediately presented by a girl with an attitude lol. She was literally picking her nails.. super disgusting! I was watching to see if she used gloves... and she did! But the food was ok nothing to rant and rave about. Got a number 2 and a number 17. Both croissants were overly toasted. It was HOTTTT in there July 2024. I think that's why she has an attitude lol. The place looked clean and it was quiet considering the neighborhood. All in all id go back if I'm in need of some food.

I'm not much of a donut person but I was craving a donut today. Randomly stopped into this place and boy was I surprised. Now the location is small and nothing fancy but the donuts!! Literally the best donuts that I've had. The donut holes literally melted in my mouth. The cake donut was so soft and low soft. I ordered one donut but the girl working the counter through in a few free donut holes! I'm glad she did because I'll definitely be back

The girl in the front is very ignorant. I walked in she had her back turned as she was cooking. She had very poor customer service. She took my order with her back turned. I asked her a question and she said she couldn't hear! Well... how could anyone hear if your back is turned and you're not properly addressing your customer! I let it go because I was in a rush. I placed my order... told her specifically what I wanted. The order was completely wrong! I called and let her know I told you exactly what I wanted. I even asked you before I left. All she could say was, "Oh my bad!" At that point, I just hung up the phone. Very tacky business! I would never go back.

Love to get a dozen or two and take to work. The guys at work love them with their morning coffee. Great customer service as well. No need to look elsewhere for some delicious treats. A+

OMG This has to be the worse donut EVER!!I stopped by after the car wash because I wanted a Fresh - not packaged - Donut. I decided to get my parents one also but they "just sold out" of the Bear Claw... ok...Glazed Twist for DadChocolate Twist for MeApple Fritter for MomI was going to wait until I got home but the donut looked so moist, I grabbed my Chocolate Twist while I was driving, took a bite and IMMEDIATELY noticed that it smelled like old GREASE which is not the smell you want as you put a DONUT in your mouth!!! Unfortunately my brain didn't notify my mouth in time and I took a bite - sigh - it was so gross!! There was no sweetness, no donut flavor, OLD GREASE. I can only assume the other donuts were cooked in the old grease well... $5.50 in the trash...How could they!? So nasty. Stay away!

The girl in the front was not friendly and already seemed irritated as soon as we walked in. We ordered a Thai tea that was ready in a minute but the flavor was not up to par. It honestly tasted like water. I understand why the place had no customers. Will not be returning here.

I tried a breakfast sausage croissant sandwich from here and I unfortunately wasn't too impressed. I expected to get a sandwich with actual sausage in it but it turns out they use something similar to a hot dog weenie. I went online to check pictures and it seems to me that that was actually my mistake because if I look closely at their pictures it does look like a hot dog weenie on their advertisement, but at quick glance I thought it was sausage links. Sadly, I wasn't able to eat the meat portion of it because I'm pregnant and the doctor told me to stay away from anything deli meat so I took it out and ate the rest. The egg tasted really bland and the dressing/mayo that was used was very sweet. However the croissant itself was toasted nicely. I wouldn't get a breakfast sandwich from here again, but I'd come back to try their donuts or boba.

Love this place I love the ham and cheese croissants. It's best to phone order if you are in a hurry.

Best donut holes in Long Beach!! Very friendly staff and family owned. Tried a few of their other donuts but the donut holes were definitely the best

Lots of complainers. Must not like their own life to give such reviews.Stop in regularly and their doughnuts are fresh, limited as the day wears on. And started coming here as the place down the street you can smell cigerett odor on their doughnuts. Never had a bad one in many years. Never experienced one with old oil smell. And Covid did not take my smelling ability away.Get a sandwich or croissant meal and switch it up to try the different offerings. Always good and tasty.It seems that nasty people need to leave those nasty reviews. Sad comment on todays ethics and lack of character as they hide behind a keyboard. No one takes responsibility for their actions and order not off the menu but their imagination and then disappointed when the get what they ordered. Amazing.
