Went back to Suki Time Thai Kitchen by Tanicha in Lomita after checking it out last week. They are certainly in the running for Best Tom Yum Soup which was so comforting, which had the perfect amount of spicyness and sourness. The Pad See Ew was just so tender with the beef and noodles, again Thai comfort food at its best. I didn't take a picture of my Thai Iced Coffee which has to be sipped to be savoured and it felt while we were there that Thailand was loving us and blessing us but to remember eating the meal is more than a little decadent. The Spicy Eggplant which I picked mild, man, it tasted so delicious! And the fried tofu that goes with it just was a perfect vegan experience to go with the white rice, which I also didn't take a picture of. That small bowl was priced just wonderfully right and tasted perfect, the simplicity of it: Thai white jasmine rice. It soaked up the eggplant dish's sauce and again was the perfect comfort dish to enjoy. The whole time was wonderful and perfect. The service was really kind. The ambiance was really welcoming. (258)

Food changed...management changed..I wrote a review before but it's. Not there anymore...maybe erased?Tom Yum Fried rice was horrible.Pad See Ew was un pieces and not even a full noodle.Thaitea was way too sweet.. enough for even a sweet tooth like me was having a hard time to down it.Atmosphere has changed. Service was standard. This used to be my Thai spot...not anymore...the two thai places near me are horrible now...gotta go father.

Food was packed with with flavor. That I can not complain about . I ordered off the lunch menu and I must of over looked that I could not add fried rice to any lunch options that included noodles. The waitress said I couldn't add rice. . Which I apologize for over looking . But on her part she could of recommended other options or showed me something else. Instead. She said I'll be back and went behind the counter. Other then that food was delicious

I recently had lunch at Suki Time Thai Kitchen and learned they are under new management. The menu offerings are still the same including their decently priced lunch specials. I've always appreciated Suki Time for their affordable lunch specials. It was only last year where I wrote about how I loved their Drunken Noodle lunch special.I came recently with a friend for lunch and lunch for the most part went well till we paid for our bill. With two lunch specials; the bill came out to be $21.90 plus tax and tip. We gave $40 and when our change came; I was surprised to see that the change given back was $6 versus the $16. There was $10 missing in change.I had noticed something a little odd when I had paid the bill and that was I did notice the waitress drop some money into what looked like a tip jar. I wasn't sure if this was the $10 but did think it would be odd of a waitress to determine how much tip and to get such a large amount as that. $10 would have been close to triple the amount of tip for the lunch specials we got I went up to the front to mention we had missing change and the waitress was called over. She didn't even look at the receipt or ask what my question was. She instantly said "Oh sorry" when she saw me and got $10 from the cash register. This instantly told me that she knew change was missing from what she gave me and she knew exactly how much.If I had not checked our change; the restaurant would not have only gotten the $10 extra but an additional tip on that! This was so disappointing.I once enjoyed coming here but I don't see myself coming back here again. How could the waitress now exactly how much money to give back to me when I didn't even explain what I approached her for? I can't support a business that on purpose didn't give the right amount of change back. Their lunch specials maybe reasonably priced but seems like they'll get more than double or triple the tip if you don't look at the change you get back.If you dine here; check your bill and your change!

Yum!!! Huge fan of their pad thai, crab fried rice, Thai tea and ESPECIALLY their Tom Kha Gai. It's a little pricey but the portions are fair. Friends and I usually do Asian family style sharing dishes so it works out great to order soup on the side and the small is perfect! The layout is a little odd. There's 3 separate eating areas, all with completely different "ambience".. The first room you enter is really just a walkthrough because I've never seen anyone actually eating there. It's an outdoor seating area but lopsided and kinda funky decor, I don't know lol. Second room is the main area I guess but it's smaller and VERY well lit almost to a fault, so no ambience there. It also feels like eating at a take-out place as opposed to a restaurant in that room. Third room is where it's at! Nice enclosed patio with dimmer lighting, heaters and a much cozier "Zen" relaxed feel. If they were to replicate the other two rooms the same style as the third I think they'd attract more customers. The one negative is they have dead or dying houseplants lying around. As a plant person this breaks my heart everytime I see it. Might just ask if I can take them next time lol.

There are two Thai dishes that I really love. One of them is the beef salad with cucumbers, onion, tomatoes, and cilantro in a spicy lime dressing. It's something I love to get for lunch. This place is close to my office location, so I decided to try it today. The woman at the counter asked me how spicy and I said spicy. She said 1-4. I got 3, fearing 4 would be too much. 3 was fine, but do would have 4.The pieces of beef in the salad are grilled and fairly tender. It has all the requisite ingredients. But the dressing lacks the fresh lime flavor that makes me crave the dish. Their version isn't bad. It's just not what I'm familiar with. The place itself is unusual. They have a central inside area where the counter is, and two adjacent enclosed patio type areas where most of the tables are. It's not fancy. But it seems fine.I don't love my dish here. But I might come back and try the Thai soup I like on a cold day.

When we first spoke with the waiter owner we told them we don't like salty food. He said no problem. We came here for the first time for the ever popular Thai papaya salad and to our disappointment they don't have that. Next order was a seafood Tom yum. The seafood were preserved in salt to prevent spoilage but it was so salty dipping them in hot water didn't help cuz it's salted thru. Third was the chicken satay that's not only salty but not properly heated. We had to have it reheated but asked the owner waiter not to microwave the chicken. It was over all a terrible experience. Should have gone done where else that night. The place has s lot of Christmas lights which make it festive butService was terrible. DO NOT WASTE your hard earned money here.
