Fantastic dinner with my family! We share to start the artichoke dip which was delicious. Then for our main course we shared the lobster Mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. All amazing. I ordered the lamb oso buco and so much food for the price. It just fell off the bone to perfection. It came with risotto which was so flavorful. To drink I had the Sabrina Carpenter which essentially was an espresso martini. Made so.well. we also ordered a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and a great Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc. Lastly for dessert shared the bread pudding and lava cake. I wouldnt order the bread pudding again. It had what seemed like apricot bits but the menu didn't call that out so no idea. It just had an odd flavor and bite. Service was excellent. I will definitely be back!

We had a great time at S&W. The wines they brought out were awesome. The food was AMAZING. Their customer service was attentive and there to keep you satisfied. Our server Grant was a great help with recommendations. We don't celebrate like this often, but when we do tea gotta go all out. I would definitely come back here again. If you're lucky you'll find free parking in the residential area, but if not, there are meters in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Steak and Whiskey for the DineLA prefix lunch menu, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The meal began with the warm, melt-in-your-mouth milk rolls served with honey butter--absolutely divine and a true highlight of the meal. The creamy spinach and artichoke dip was equally impressive, bursting with flavor and accompanied by crostinis that were perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining soft on the inside. The Caesar salad was light, refreshing, and packed with taste--an excellent palate cleanser before the main course. The steak, unfortunately, fell a bit short for me. I had requested it medium, but it arrived well done, which was disappointing. The mashed potatoes were simple but satisfying, and the asparagus was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. For dessert, the bread pudding was a surprise--there were more raisins than I expected, which threw me off a bit. I think I would have enjoyed it more if there were fewer raisins, but that's a personal preference. All in all, Steak and Whiskey offered a great dining experience with a few minor hiccups. I'd definitely return to try more of their menu!

This was my first time back since they remodeled. The food was excellent! The Rib eye melted like butter. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. The French onion soup was very good. I liked the cream brule but didn't like the bread pudding.

Quiet and lovely. When you walk in you forget you're in the middle of a beach town.We were greeted by the host and quickly sat at a table with our name on it. They spelled my husband's name wrong, a huge annoyance for him, but he let it go.Mina was our server. She greeted us with a smile and excellent attentiveness. I ordered the old fashioned and my husband a beer. They only had two beers on draft and other options in bottles. The milk bread is a must. You will thank me later. The honey and butter blend they give alongside the rolls is life changing. The spinach artichoke dip was good. The crustinis were light as air.He ordered the rib eye. I ordered the pichana. We were not disappointed. Their medium rare is rare. I enjoyed every last bite of my 6 oz pichana and would order again. I'm a filet mignon type of gal but this was great. We ordered garlic mashed and onion rings for our sides. They were really good as well. The onion rings were the best I've had in a very long time. Lightly breaded and seasoned with something I can't put my taste buds on. The dessert offerings were a plenty. But we were stuffed. See my pics below.

Came here for happy hour so I can't speak for their other menus. The oyster was $1.50 each which you don't normally find anywhere nowadays. It was descend and tasted fresh but wasn't my type of oyster. Other food was descend on the happy hour menu overall. The margaritas were good though.

One of my go to places in LA to get steaks. The seafood platter is such a steal - packed with fresh lobster, prawns, oysters, and ceviche - probably one of the cheapest towers you can get in LA. My favorite steak to get is the ribeye (dressed) and it's usually cooked perfectly. Sometimes, they do come out a little too fatty to my liking. The restaurant is more rustic than typical steakhouses and it's not too dimly lit. The servers are always super attentive and friendly and have good recommendations.

The happy hour menu is incredible. Connor was our server and was very attentive. The hostess was also really nice and welcoming, didn't get her name but this was on Wednesday night. We got:The oystersFlatbread HamburgerMussels Hamachi crudoLava cakeEverything was insanely delicious! The ambiance is gorgeous. We went when it was still light outside- there are skylights and large windows for a lot of natural light. Loved the hunting lodge vibe.

We live nearby and didn't try this restaurant for years, partly due to the less than 4 star Yelp rating and partly because I'm not a big meat eater. I'm so sad we waited so long and trusted reviews from strangers on the internet. Steak & Whisky is great! We had a baby last year who has to be in bed early, so we were looking for a place to have an early dinner a few weeks ago. Most of our favorite restaurants in Hermosa don't open until 5 during the week and we're bored of always going to The Rockefeller and Hook & Plow for happy hour. The Steak & Whisky menu looked interesting, so we decided to pop in with our 10 month old around 4:30 two weeks ago. We had a fantastic meal with great service. We tried it again yesterday and had the same experience. We've ordered off of the happy hour and regular menus and everything has been delicious. They also have a variety of vegetarian and pescatarian dishes that are great for me along with great meat options for my husband. Some of our favorites have been the eggplant meatballs, scallops, shrimp cocktail and oysters. My husband also loved the happy hour burger and Beef dip sandwich. Overall, we highly recommend Steak and Whisky and I think we'll be regulars from here on out.

My spouse made reservations for my bday and we both were very satisfied. We were sat right away and there was a bday sign on the table which was cute. I love a good steak and that's exactly what they provided, cooked to my liking and no crumbs were left. The vibe was my favorite, it was small with dimmed lighting with set a romantic feel. It's also a small place so the servers are checking on you regularly. The pricing is fair, you pay for what you get. Zero complaints. 10/10 recommend. It's also across from sharkies and American junkies if you want to have drinks after dinner
