Southland Bar

Hiii, I've never been. I just wanna know what day(s) the karaoke is! Someone told me about this place (or at least a south bay bar that started with the name "s") and said it was awesome and had karaoke on Saturdays. Is this the place?? Someone let me know, please!

Finally had my event here. It was awesome, owner is A1 and staff are super friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is set for a good time and even though they don't serve food, on that night we had finger foods for the win.

Came here to support my colleagues boyfriend on his first time being a DJ and had a great time!! I walked into an empty bar but it was to my advantage since I was able to choose my seat. The DJ started up and the music was jamming. The bar tenders were great hostesses and one of them even let me taste one of her signature drinks. They have a large selection of different types of alcohol so you should be able to get more than what you would at any other bar. The crowd was mixed and was decent given the fact that the weekend before it was rumored that someone had been stabbed there.

Great place. Had a fun time with my friends from work. Food & drinks are average but I like the ambiance.

Originally was going to grab ramen by Gen, I saw the windows open and letters on the tv and heard the karaoke. I went in and pancho and yadi hyped me up to get on the mic. Drinks were great and the ambiance was cool. I would go back for a casual drink.

Not sure why "LGBT friendly" comes up when googling this place. Did management add that or did a customer? But a flag would be a nice addition to remind people that it is just that. We overheard a customer yell out a homophobic slur in Spanish. Staff seemed unaware that it was homophobic. A flag would be a nice addition to remind all walks of life to be mindful. Idk I'm a little bit drunk

They seem to be rebranding. They didn't have any drink menu specials. Staff was friendly. Only side street parking was available.Drink was good and strong.

Drinks were great! Ambiance was great as well. Music was upbeat! Everyone was young and alive.

I love this spot...wish they were open more on weekdays too so I'd be able to stop by for a drink after work!!!!Everyone is friendly and professional. Keep in mind, sometimes the bartenders are busy so gotta sometimes call them to you for a drink as they walk around. No biggie!
