Soup Shop - State College Blvd/Lincoln Ave.

It was midnight, and I needed sustenance. Soup shop was near, and it was just what I was craving. Their pairing of the pho with filet mignon shaken beef is a revelation - combining two Vietnamese favorites. The layers of the pho broth were delightful and didn't taste heavy/oily. The filet mignon was tender and hearty. I especially loved the seared bell peppers and onions. I also want to give a shoutout to the staff working at this hour. Not only were they patient with my indecisiveness, they also brought out my food with great speed. Truly appreciate their kindness at this time of the night. Thanks Soup Shop!

If you've been to vox kitchen and sup noodle bar, this place kinda reminds me of a combination of both of those places based on the food they offer!The restaurant itself is not too big and has a casual vibe to it. Can get crowded sometimes but every time I've gone, I've been seated right away. And the service is pretty good! They're also open pretty late which is a plus. My favorite things to order from soup shop are the crawfish garlic noodles and their pho. The crawfish garlic noodles have a LOT of crawfish in it and it's a little spicy and their pho is also really flavorful!If you're craving viet fusion food, I highly recommend this place! :)

I have been sick and store bought soups are worthless. How wonderful to find a delicious, cozy little soup spot near me that serves fresh, hot, packed soups of nutritional value that are just what the doctor ordered to help me regain my strength. They have much more than soup too. I'll be back because if their soup was this amazing, I'm sure the rest of the menu is too.

Soup Shop is located in a big plaza so parking won't be an issue. We ate here on a Sunday afternoon and there was a short wait for a party of 3. Ambiance is super casual. Servers were attentive enough - there was a lot of parties and there just a few servers that day.The Crunchy Pork Bao is amazing, I'll definitely crave it. The shaken beef was super tender and full of flavor. I would recommend!

Open kinda late... it's a great place to get your pho fix if you're having one of those degenerate nights. The pho is comforting and it'll do the job but I wouldn't come here unless I was kind of desperate. The dac biet/combo was an enjoyable bowl but compared to the ones you can get around Westminster/garden grove, this is quite subpar. It's almost 20 bucks too so that kinda hurts even more. The texture of the noodles are a little too stale or hard so that was off putting. The bowl is huge but don't be fooled, there's actually not that much stuff in there. Food: 6/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Service: 7/10 Value: 5/10

I hate to take away a star, but it would be really great if Soup Shop had at least one English speaker able to answer the phone at all times. I called today to put in a pick up order, and the person answered in another language. No problem, I'm used to it. I said, "Hi, can I put in an order for pickup?" And the woman immediately hung up. Unfortunately this has happened before, so I decided to be patient and call back. Maybe she panicked and someone else would answer the phone this time. I was not planning on complaining. I called back, and it rang for a LONG time, before disconnecting. I really don't like to complain, especially about service; It was just very abrupt and rude. But I guess they have the right to refuse service to anyone...I found another pho place and ordered from there.

We ordered pho brisket a side of beef broth with broccoli and garlic fries. Brisket pho the sliced brisket was perfection soft and easy to eat (most places it's to tough) very good broth. Garlic fries and dipping sauce full of flavor great combo. I would definitely come back just for those. Friendly service and it was a busy day when we came in so I can say they were doing their best. Clean establishment love the touch of plants they had in there. It is however pretty chilly in there so bring a jacket. Thank you soup shop for a great experience

We went here on a Thursday night almost 10 pm. We waited for about half an hour as there's limited seating. Although, as soon we were seated, the service was fast. I had the pho combination and chicken popcorn. It tasted pretty good. Soup has generous amount of meat and the soup itself tasted really good. The chicken popcorn was cooked well too but I think it needed more flavor or some distinct flavor into it. The green toppings (not sure if its dried parsley) was just placed on one area and the other chicken popcorn did not get the toppings. Tried to shake it off the chicken but it didn't fall down. Next, the passion fruit tea tasted good though a lil bit concentrated. Overall, I still recommend this place for late night soup fix.

This is my go to spot for Pho, they also have other delicious dishes . The service is quick and staff is friendly.

Had a great experience at this Vietnamese spot.Negatives:-the size of the restaurant is a little small and the music is a little loud.Positives:-price, the prices are very reasonable. They don't overcharge for their food and that's very much appreciated in this economy.-taste, we ordered popcorn chicken, garlic fries, garlic noodles w/ pork ribs, and pho with shaken beef. I've never tried pho and shaken beef before and it may be strange for true Vietnamese tastes, but that's the only way I'll order pho from now on. The sauce made the pho broth even better. The popcorn chicken and fries were good too. Only the garlic noodles had a weird taste, though the pork was sweet and tasty.-service, service was very good and we got everything we asked for.5/5 overall, we'll definitely be coming back.
