Slater's 50/50 Food Truck

The business that I work for hired the food truck for our holiday party this week. It took anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours for people to get their orders. Most of the orders were incorrect but the employees took them anyway because they had waited so long and were hungry. Some of the food was burnt. When a representative from our business tried to call Slater's to discuss the issue after the event, our phone call was not returned. Our event was ruined because most of the party, the employees were standing outside waiting for their food, and couldn't enjoy the event inside.I understand sometimes things happen beyond their control, but to not return the call and offer some sort of customer service (apology or discount) is unacceptable.

Wish your phone number worked. That ruins everything. I'm sure you could make your money back after paying a phone bill.

The food was hands down a 10. And the hospitality and service was off the hook made you feel like family. I had the lonestar burger and mac n cheese fried balls.

So we decided to try Slater's at the Friday Food Trucks at Lakewood Mall. The smell dragged us over and we had the bacon burgers. For sides they have tater tots and I had them. Very good but not enough cheese sauce on the side. All and all I would say go try them

By far thee best and most tasty burger and onion rings Ive had. The service was friendly. Not disappointed at all.

Absolutely delicious! The burger was cooked at a perfect medium, extremely juicy! i was skeptical about the whole half beef and half bacon concept but ITS AMAZING! Perfect combo. 10/10 customer service. Guided me in what to choose. The mac n cheese balls were delicious! can't wait to come back. definitely get your money's worth

At first I was a little skeptical about the PB&J Burger but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a deliciously unique burger. The bacon was cooked the perfection. The 50/50 patty was very juicy and very hearty. I would definitely have it again. It is my new favorite and Slaters 50/50 is my new burger spot. The customer service was awesome and super friendly. Also, the maple bourbon bacon wings are a MUST! The frickles (fried pickles) were good just a little salty for my taste, they paired well with tapatio ranch. Another plus is they sell the big mexican cokes, which are my personal fave.

The PB&J burger is AMAZING. The 50/50 patties change the game. Hands down some of the best burgers I've ever had. And the Fried Mac and Cheese balls are just delightful. 5 stars and recommend you stop at this place if you get the chance.
