amazing nostalgic vegan chocolate cake! i love shopping for spices and rice at pioneer. they carry my favorite flavor of chips and fresh roti. every time i step through the front door, i am always mesmerized by the bakery. i went on the week of my birthday and decided to try a slice of their vegan cake. it was delicious! not too sweet, moist, and overall a new favorite of mine. i was in love with the chocolate shell at the base of the cake. i highly recommend trying the bakery! parking is plentiful. the bakery is located right inside of the grocery store. the staff is friendly and helpful. the bakery counter is quick service and the environment is very clean and welcoming. i cannot wait to have another slice! i will happily recommend to my dairy-free & vegan friends and family. :)

Great cakes Very nice service at the bakery. This is my first time purchasing here. Ambiance looks clean,International market.The smell of spices was pleasant walking by the bakery, they make their tortillas their called something else. Sorry Although I needed to taste more of that Pistachio flavor, for my palate I enjoy Pistachio just needed a bit more flavor.

This bakery was hard to find. I drove around several times and realized it was inside cash and carry store. My niece has egg allergies and bought some slices for her so she doesn't feel left out at a birthday party. They have many selections and looks and tastes delicious.

I ordered this for my sons bday it was a last minute so just took what they had. The lady that help me on the phone was really nice I asked a lot of questions and she was able to answer. she put my order on the side and in the box so i could just pick it up. You need to pay over the phone if you need to pick up. It was actually delicious it was our first time trying this and will order again soonIns

Fantastic place. They had very friendly and accommodating staff. Ordered a cake for my son for his birthday and everything exceeded my expectations! And as far as taste goes, he's usually very picky but he tore his cake up and wanted more. I definitely would recommend and I definitely will order from them again.

Went to a party that had these desserts out. They looked amazing and tasted ok but after a short phone call found out it's a bit pricey. Which is understandable since they're eggless and sugar free. The customer service over the phone was terrible. The person sounded so tired of my questions, put me on hold, then hung up. When i called back to say I was hung up on, she got really defensive and straight up rude. The desserts didn't taste good enough to put up with that type of attitude. Such a shame bc they looked great!

Tried two vegan cake slices and they were airy, moist and fluffy. This texture was impressive in that many other vegan cakes I've tried are dense and thick in consistency. The taste was rather light though, so it was missing depth, which I was craving. The location appears to be the bakery counter of Pioneer Cash & Carry but it is its own business inside the market. When I first arrived, there was no one at the counter. No greeting. Someone then came out of a side area and was busy with a task, still no acknowledgement. I then asked for assistance and clarification to which the woman was rude in her response, as if I was bothering her. I thought about leaving immediately because no one wants rudeness when unjustified.Luckily, a different woman came out of the side area, and she was super nice. Perhaps either a customer service training or perhaps there should be consideration to never let rude employees interact with customers. I'm sure she has a strength but she will push customers away. 4 stars for the cake texture and polite employee, 3 stars for the value, 1 star for the rude employee... overall 3 stars.
