I should've got a burger while I was here Super nice seating choices inside and out very popular place I started off with the pork sliders they were to die for I was extremely satisfied with this appetizer Known for their burgers I don't know why I ordered the California chicken sandwich I'm not a fan of avocado and why did I decide to be half healthy I don't know I blame myself I personally wasn't a fan None the less I would come back and get any of the burgers here the smells I've smelt coming from that kitchen and excitement on peoples face when those burgers come out I think I knew immediately I messed up My server was super sweet and really friendly everyone here was friendly chatting with customers sharing laughs this is just a fun place to stop by with friends and family.

Ambience, friendship, Long Beach. The core fundamentals of this establishment are plain to see when it comes to their service. We entered this eatery on December 29, 2024 and were seated in a short 3 minutes after they kindly rearranged two tables to fit our party. Truly remarkable efficiency and hospitality. The menu, beautiful and easy to read with a wide selection of drinks, appetizers and meals for any craving. Our waitress, Lauren, was a beautifully kind woman who clearly loves her job. Upon complimenting her earrings, I was given a compliment in return, which made me feel as if I was more than a guest. She was efficient in refilling my water whenever I was short and very eager to assure our party was having a delightful time. Because of her the experience was enlightened. Please give her a raise. We ordered 3 appetizers. The 15 minute (but worth the wait) buffalo wings, the Simmzy's signature nachos and of course, the carne asada fries. Every piece was a masterpiece, the work of a chef so dedicated to presentation and taste. -The nachos, crisp and delicate, every topping perfectly portioned upon them, seasoned perfectly as if it were kisses of an angel. The shrimp that was atop this plate of miraculous construction, seemed to be blessed by Poseidon himself. -The buffalo wings, golden and crisp, with a buffalo sauce ever so savory and succulent, with the perfect spice like that of a life's times experience of craftsmanship. The dressing alongside was a blue cheese delicacy. Perfect consistency and a flavor so rich and incredibly complementary of the wings. There was never a better duo. -And finally, the carne asada fries. My. God. The pile of perfect shoe string fries resembled a mountain, ready to be explored. It's climber would be rewarded with the taste of heaven. The perfect combination of ingredients. Fresh tomato, supple cilantro, grilled flavorful steak, the sweet spice of red onions and finally the perfect spread of melted cheese. This meal was simply divine. I would follow these fries to the end of the earth. If Simmzy's ever stops serving these fries, so help me god I will personally start a riot outside of its doors. Begging for the return of my beloved. I will implore my fellow brothers to join me in my fight. Until alas, sweet victory is mine. The only blood shed will be mine if I emerge unsuccessful.. but do not count on my failure. Yeah the food was really good. And the service was great. Perfect family spot for a light dinner or just drinks and snacks with friends.

So crazy that I never knew about this place on 2nd. My boyfriend and I came here Sunday afternoon. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told it was open seating. Once we sat down, our waiter, Ari, started taking down our drink orders and was super helpful, walking me through the drink menu and the brunch menu because I had my heart set on breakfast food. If you know me and my reviews, you know I'm a brunch girl. I don't eat beef or pork, so I was told that I could basically sub the meat for any protein I had a taste for, so I went with chicken, which was pretty good--spicy and savory.My boyfriend went with the best damn French toast (that thang was huge I had I forgot to snap a picture) and an Island Time for his drink. The ambiance was a good vibe; all the crew members were nice and welcoming. Parking sucks because it's 2nd Street, duh. We'll be back soon, though.

Service was on. Point. The food was so fresh and served right away not sitting under a heating lamp. The pizza thing was actually really good! Enough of all their ingredients. Burger wasn't dry it was juicy as can be. It's a bit loud though...

Dined here on a Friday night around 4:45pm. It wasn't crowded so we were allowed to sit anywhere we wanted. To start, I had aMargarita and my husband ordered a beer. We are practically regular diners at Belmont Shore just about every weekend and we couldn't believe it took us this long to try out Simmzy's. Our server, offered up suggestions on his faves and we took his advice. We ordered the 15 minute wings and the white margarita pizza. The wings were breaded and I think they deep fried it and covered it in sauce because it was crunchy/crispy and the sauce wasn't spicy at all. The blue cheese dip it came with was a nice accompaniment. It was good! And so was the pizza. We'd come back again.

Very popular place that's been around for a very long time in Belmont Shore. Parking is always difficult in the area. They have outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. We've been there for dinner before, but we went for Sunday brunch this time.Service as usual was friendly and efficient. The choices for lunch and brunch were good.I had the tostada and a fish taco, both of which were excellent. My partner had the avavocado toast, which she said was very good. I would highly recommend.

I'm surprised no one talked about their new cocktail - macadamia chi chi. It's amazing!!! 10/10 would totally recommend. Foods amazing as always.

Saw the high reviews and placed an order online. Parking is limited to sidewalk parking. You're lucky if you can snag a spot close by. Other than that take in the ocean breeze and enjoy a stroll. Large space with bar, interior and patio seating. Place wasn't too crowded upon arrival. Greeted when we walked in, picked up our order and was on our way. Provided with utensils and napkins. I wish they would've offered some chili flakes and parm but the flavor was excellent. Flavorful juicy roasted tomatoes were the saving grace. The crust was a little on the denser, chewy side. Maybe it wasn't like a fresh dough. We didn't mind it though as it was more of like a flatbread. The garlic, smoked cheese, fresh basil and roasted tomatoes made up for its flaws. Would visit again to give it another try.

Nice spot for a casual dinner. Went with a large party to this spot with a reservation on a Saturday night.Great: Bacon Date pizza - the marriage of bacon and dates makes a very nice sweet and salty flavor. The pizza is very rich and has a creamy sauce. A bit tough on the crust. Nevertheless, high marks!Grown up chicken fingers - the most tender tenders I've had from a restaurant. They're made of chicken thighs which adds juiciness. The sauce it comes with is also very good. Wonderfully executed.Carne asada fries - the fries here are shoestring, and that helps prevent them from getting soggy even when coated with all the toppings in this dish.Good:Nachos with chicken - Thick style tortilla chips. Similar to the asada fries and well put together, but I would get the fries over the nachos, which is why I put this in a slightly lower tier. Chicken was also a little dry. Still very solid!I had a house hazy IPA to accompany the food, which was delicious.The staff accommodated our large party very well, and even helped celebrate an engagement in our party. Big ups to the service!

Simmzy's, where the portion sizes are perfection! Ok. I get that that's a super weird piece of feedback. However, it's also a difficult thing to nail perfectly. Everyone at our table was able to finish without still being hungry. Most time we eat out it's either a high price and a smallish portion or a lower price and a too large portion. Or some mix of those. But Simmzy's gets it juuuust right. Our server was exceptional. They kept such a keen eye that they knew our kiddo needed an extra napkin before we even noticed he has made a small spill. They were incredibly swift and discreet in helping us out and always there if we needed anything. We stopped in for a Sunday lunch. We parked nearby because we wanted to explore the area and it was very easy to find a place to park. Perfect for a Sunday. Sporty and chic, once again perfectly straddling the line.
