I love Silverlake Ramen so when I found out there was a MB location, I had to check it out! Super cool staff and a nice lay out that had semi outdoor seating which made eating out on a sunny day perfect :) We got some chicken karaage for the table which was super juicy and had a good crisp to it. I ordered the garlic truffle ramen and it did not disappoint! Full of flavor and had me wanting seconds Def come by and try if you're in the area! Tons of parking so that shouldn't be a problem

Silverlake Ramen in Manhattan Beach is a decent spot for a casual meal, but it falls short of standing out in the competitive ramen scene. The Good: * The broth is flavorful, particularly the tonkotsu, which has a rich and creamy texture. It's a solid base that will satisfy most ramen cravings. * Portions are generous, and the toppings like chashu and soft-boiled egg are well-prepared. * The restaurant has a modern, clean atmosphere and is conveniently located. The Not-So-Good: * The noodles felt overcooked, lacking the firm, springy texture you'd expect from a great bowl of ramen. * Service was friendly but noticeably slow, even during a less busy time. * Prices are on the higher side for what you get, especially considering there are better ramen options nearby.Overall, Silverlake Ramen is good for a quick bite if you're in the area, but it doesn't quite live up to its reputation. It's not a bad choice, but it's not memorable either.

Part of a chain, the Manhattan Beach Silverlake Ramen serves up a solid meal of Ramen (also saves me from driving to Sawtelle Blvd to eat). The Ramen is well prepared, properly spiced/flavored, and served at a proper temperature. This is the go to dish when you come here. I get the Blaze with pork because I want the extra spice level and it warms me up in the winter. The rice bowl and the appetizers are all tasty and well prepared with good sized portions. Service is good and they will attend to your needs but the wait staff is in between a lot of tables so it can get slightly spotty during service rushes. They will drop water carafes on the table so you do not need to ask for refills. There is a Silverlake Rewards app that is great to use to get free items if you consistently dine here, so I suggest downloading it. The points update quickly after you pay for a meal. The environment is inside but the end of the restaurant is open to the outside of the Manhattan Village outside mall area. There are plenty of heat lamps if you are near the outside so you will stay warm. The bathrooms are clean and well serviced.Definitely will return to dine here.

This is my second visit to Silverlake Ramen recently and both experiences were not bad. Upon arriving, we were seated and given menus. They gave us time to think on what to order and came back as expected, with not too long of a wait. However, the server who took our order was neither polite nor rude. Seemed like he was doing the bare minimum just to get by. The service changed throughout my time here though. After, other employees came up and asked how our food was and if we needed anything, which was good service. I had gotten the combo, with the blaze ramen and the creamy broccolini. The creamy broccolini is a must have and is always delicious here. The sauce that they put the broccolini on is very good and delicious. It is always cooked perfectly as well. My ramen was great. The broth was delicious and tasted freshly made, and the spice level was just right. The chicken inside was a little undercooked, but nothing worth noting. Great experience I had again at Silverlake Ramen and I look forward to returning soon.

Been meaning to try Silverlake Ramen for awhile now and glad this location exists! Needed to do some shopping but wanted to grab a quick bite so ramen was it! I got the blaze ramen bowl combo which came with an appetizer (got the gyoza) and a bowl of ramen. My husband got the karaage bowl and we shared the spicy tuna on crispy rice. There was plenty of seating in this place, service was quick and easy. We got our food very quick and everything was nice and hot just like I like it! Pork gyoza was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, great flavors. The crispy rice was also very good but a little pricey for two pieces. I really enjoyed the bowl of ramen, had a nice kick and great flavors. Husband got the regular karaage bowl. The karaage chicken was nice and juicy, probably one of my favorite karaage chickens I've had. Our meal was under $50 with tip which is pretty decent for lunch!

Mediocre and poor service. Food: - Original ramen: It was ok, nothing special. I thought that there was less noodles than usual which was a bummer. - We wanted gyoza, but when we went at 12:00pm, they said that they were out of gyoza which was very weird. - Karaage: Juicy and good. Especially enjoyed the dipping sauce on the side. - California roll: The rice was forsure old and dry. I didn't have the heart to send it back, but that was unfortunate. Service:- The restaurant was pretty empty, but they made us wait for about 5 minutes before seating us- Forgot to bring us the chili paste 2 times.- Our server was not attentive and lacked character. Restaurant venue:- It's all an outdoor setting, so dress warm! - Located in the Manhattan village mall, so lots of parking available and lots of things to do around. I can't see myself coming back to this place since there's a lot more ramen restaurants that are tastier with better service in the area. However, it is a nicely built place and in a convenient location which is nice.

Its cold in MB so we ran to the closest ramen place we could and hit the jackpot. Husband said the pork bun was in the top three he has ever had-nice and spicy. I love spicy tuna crispy rice and was shocked how good this was. Especially at a non sushi restaurant! Ramen was awesome broth was extremely flavorful. We are leaving with happy bellies. Service was efficient and quick! We will be back

Silverlake ramen is a nice little find in Manhattan beach. It's located in the Manhattan village mall which recently underwent a major facelift (it's been a few years now) and this place fits the vibe perfectly. It's fancy ramen. As someone who's used to the likes of Shen-shi-Gumi and HiroNori, this place doesn't really compare.Silverlake is good, not great. You go in understanding what you get when you go for ramen in a place like Manhattan Beach. It's going to be solid, but it's built for the community it serves. With that being said, the pork belly slices that come with the bowl are hefty!! It's honestly worth an extra star for me lolThe service was good and friendly. Everyone was helpful.

So happy to have found a silverlake ramen here!!PROS------Ramen: The ramen is top notch. Arguable one of the best bowls you can get. The flavors are vibrant but balanced. My favorite is the garlic truffle, the broth is so creamy and decadent. Sushi: I think it is such a huge plus that they serve sushi as well! Two of my favorite things done right under one roof, what more could you ask for. Service: The service was very attentive and quick!Ambiance: Great indoor/outdoor areas. I was scared to sit outside because it was cold but they have the best heaters that you can actually feel so no problems with the cold at allDEFINITELY TRY THE RAMEN IF YOU HAVEN'T YET

We've come here many times since it's opening. And every time we come my mom (who can't eat wheat) gets her ramen with no noodles but rice on the side for no charge. When we came at around 12:30pm on February 23, we were told by the Shift Lead on duty that they don't do modifications, they never have, and that if she wanted rice then she'd have to pay for it. When we tried to tell her that we always have ordered that way, (she herself has done it before). She said that she's worked there for 3 years and that ordering that way is not possible. So instead of missing out on what? $3 for a side of white rice she missed out on about $50 sale. Not adding noodle to ramen is not such a difficult modification AND she was willing to do the modification if we were willing to pay extra for it, even though she claims they don't do modifications, which is odd for a place that has a significant amount of add ons. We probably won't be back, not because we don't have an extra $3 but because she was very rude and unwilling to listen talking over us saying "no never, not here" over and over again. We got up and left and had a great lunch at Dan Modern with great service and delicious food!
