Sideburns

I came here on my lunch break, and the food and service were amazing. I called for a pickup and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The girl who took my order was so thoughtful and considerate of my time; she called me back to let me know that the sandwich I ordered would take longer than expected and asked if I wanted to try something else. That alone makes me give them 4 stars--she did not have to go out of her way to call me back after I ordered my food. Dope! It sucks that I didn't get her name for a shoutout.Btw: I order a grilled chicken sandwich and swapped for fried chicken sandwich.

Not great. Gave them 3 chances since it's one of the only places open late after I get off work. Sideburns is directly connected to the bar next door and I believe sells food at the bar too. The food might taste good when drinking, but not so great when sober.I've tried a couple of the burger options, chicken wings, and fries. The food doesn't taste great in terms of quality. The burger patty tasted a little off and funky. Order of fries didn't have a single grain of salt on it. Burgers that I ordered with bacon was forgotten. Wish I could recommend this spot, but I've spent my last dollar here. The food quality doesn't warrant any more chances.

Great burger and wings and poutine. I'll be going back after I got up a show at Alex's. Late hours which is great.

Always happy to find a place where vegans and omnivores can unite and if you're looking for a burger spot, this is it. Full vegan menu! I was in town visiting and I still think of the burger I had here. And it's hard to find fried pickles let alone, vegan ones! I was happy! You can order / sit in restaurant or attached bar. Good service. Good food. Good spot.

Great burgers from a rundown looking hole in the wall spot in Long Beach. Don't sleep on this place. We've tried a few different burgers and always enjoyed it. We also always order the cheese curds because they are just so addictive!The only item I don't care for is the Smash Cristo - a burger/Monte Cristo sandwich hybrid.

We were going to another local favorite but it was closed to our friend suggested coming here for a great Smashburger, he was absolutely right. My son and I shared the Swiss/Mushroom and the Italian Stallion. Both were good but definitely the Swiss mushroom was much better. My son got the onion rings and I ordered the tots but got fries. Bummer but still good overall. Burgers are so good and it hit the spot. We were allowed to go next door with our burgers and beers to enjoy. This place has some small plastic tables and seats but being allowed to go next door and eat there made it a little more comfortable. The girl that took our order was tending the bar too. She was very nice and the service was good.

It was fine. Smash burger was ok. The poutine was the surprise and very enjoyable. I will try the vegan fish 'n chips next time.

Absolutely amazing burger!! My friend and I were looking for a good burger in Long Beach. Sideburns had some great reviews so we gave it a shot. Parking is a bit difficult (street parking only) but the burger makes up for that. My friend ordered "The Works Burger" with onion rings and I ordered the "Hulk Smash" with fries. Both burgers and sides were delivered to the table piping hot. The onion rings had an amazing crunch to them and the fries had the perfect amount of salt in them. The burgers were next level... the works had a deep fried mushroom that also had an awesome crunch. The Hulk was huge but amazing as well. The service was excellent and the staff were super friendly. They have another business, The Stache is a pub which is right next door. I will definitely be back to Sideburns and will need to try the Stache in the near future!

Only thing I'd have to say is if you are getting a single patty, I'd recommend the double. Pretty thin so a double makes up for the bun to meat ratio. Taste was great. Service was good. The overall ambiance inside could have been a little better but that's super minor. Overall, I'd definitely go back if close by.

Finally! A real smash burger in Long BeachTbh... I could give this place five stars on the tots alone. Napoleon Dynamite would definitely put these in his pocket to save for later. Cooked to perfection and paired with their spicy mayo, they were they were the perfect addition to my burger The guys that worked there were super friendly and eager to help as soon as I walked in Just east of Alamitos on fourth this place is centrally located and very easy to find Inside was very clean with plenty of seatingI'll definitely be back to try a few of the other burgers that were recommended
