Sausage breakfast burrito: Wife loved it, the sausage cut up was really nice and we wish more places would do it like this.

I have been going to Shorty'z for years, usually for breakfast on a weekend morning when nothing at home sounds good and I'm about to go run some errands. They have a great variety of menu items with many options for both breakfast and lunch. I usually get the two eggs with bacon combo, but I have also had their french toast, pancakes, burgers, and sandwiches and everything is always tastes great and the portion sizes are good. The service is fast and friendly and it is nice to always see a lot of the same faces there when you visit. The owner is a big LA Kings and hockey fan. There are some hockey decorations on the walls and the TVs will often have a hockey game on.They are located in a pretty large shopping center, but they are the first business if you enter the center on the east side. They are in their own building (the unit next door has been vacant for ages) and there is a good amount of parking out front that is pretty much dedicated to them. There are about six booths and six tables inside as well as a nice enclosed patio outside with a good amount of seating which is great when the weather is nice. I am sure I will be back soon.

When asked how would I like my eggs prepared I requested that if possible if I would be able to have one egg scrambled and one egg over easy. I guess this was unacceptable because then Chris AKA Elon Musk then intervened to dictate on how I was going to have my eggs prepared with the combo So to avoid any issues and to find a problem to the solution I decided to order a side of scrambled eggs but instead of allowing the cashier to move forward with the transaction Chris started to stay on how this may not be the location for me and my children to have breakfast then threaten me to call the authorities and fabricate a story how I was being disruptive really disappointed and how Chris's AKA Elon Musk response and behavior towards a father just trying to feed their children and enjoy a nice breakfast sorry Chris I was such an inconvenience on asking for such a basic request I would like to be able to reach out to you to allow you to apologize for inappropriate behavior in front of my children I thought this was a family orientated restaurant that you can enjoy with your family my advice just don't ask for a scrambled egg or an over easy egg in the same order Make Shorty's Great Again....Regards,Yelp SupportSan Francisco, CaliforniaYelp Official Blog | https://blog.yelp.comYelp Support Center | https://www.yelp-support.comYelp for Business Owners | https://biz.yelp.comYelp for Business Support Center | hit me up if you are reading this right now I can only imagine what he decided that actually took place Yelp I'm disappointed in you and Shorty's as a customer I have freedom of speech and I will be able to use it there was nothing wrong and exposing this individual for wrongdoings why you always lying why you got to be lying

My first review of 2025. My friend/co-worker had raved about Shorty'z a few months ago, but I did not get the chance to stop by until this a few weeks ago. I had been to this plaza for Target and passed by (on Yorba Linda Blvd), almost monthly for years, so I was surprised to learn that this placed existed. I am always down for a breakfast burrito.Sausage Burrito (Salsa Verde) $11.99Zucchini $6.25The Sausage Burrito came with either red or green salsa. I opted for the salsa verde, but probably should have requested the red salsa since pictures look like it is fresh Pico de Gallo. The breakfast burrito was more wide than long, and it was packed (with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and sausage)! I loved the sausage that was used, especially since it was cut evenly and also distributed evenly within the burrito. The only thing that I would ding the breakfast burrito, is the type of tortilla used. I found it more dry and "flaky" than "moist". The Zucchini fries were delish! Out of all the places I've tried them, I loved how they were "sliced" like a fry. They were all fried evenly and the flavors were perfect. I was able to share some with my friend/co-worker and a family member. Parking was easily accessible as Shorty'z is located in the corner of the plaza, so there are plenty of parking spaces directly in front. They also have a "rewards" program that one can sign up for.Overall, experienced great service and very delicious food. Will most definitely stop by again in the future.

Our go-to order at Shorty'z is the sausage bagel sandwich with fries--always a solid choice! You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the food comes out quickly. The service is great, and the staff is always super friendly. There's plenty of parking, making takeout a breeze. It's a super casual spot, so feel free to stop by in your pajamas!

This one's short and sweet but appropriate for a place called Shorty'z I spotted this hole-in-the-wall on a short jog in an unfamiliar place. Thanks to my fellow yelpers, I knew this place was solid and also that the French Toast plate was a favorite. There were many choices on the menu and I went with what the yelpers and the guy taking my order recommended. He was kind enough to let me split the meat option so that I could have both bacon and sausage! My over easy eggs were on point. And the coffee was good and strong - just the way I like it.

Shorty'z has been around for almost 10 years now but I barely found it a couple weeks ago. Living in SoCal, I've had the opportunity to try so many good breakfast burritos and this place definitely takes the cake. Here's what I've tried:**Gorilla Breakfast Burrito: Hands down the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. I love anything pastrami and it works so well as a breakfast burrito. (5/5)**Sausage Breakfast Burrito: Classic sausage burrito but everything is stuffed and is delicious. (5/5)One thing that definitely stands out is the salsa they use. They give you an option for pico de gallo or salsa verde. I've gone with salsa verde on the side both times and it's nothing short of amazing. Most joints use that typical store bought runny salsa but this place has a chunky, spicier version and it's great. Also, service here stands out compared to other breakfast spots. 100% recommended!

Such a great hidden gem cafe in Fullerton! I've had Shorty'z bookmarked for quite some time and decided to take my family here for a quick brunch date. I loved how friendly and inviting the atmosphere is. You are immediately greeted upon walking in the door and everyone has a wonderful smile on their face! Their menu offers everything we were looking for that day. We ordered their breakfast omelette, breakfast burrito, gyro and children's pancake breakfast. Everything came out in a timely manner and tasted wonderful and fresh. We will have to come back and try their other menu items very soon!

My son recommended this little hole-in- the wall, and boy, was he right! Not much of a restaurant presence, but the food I ordered was delicious! I decided to splurge and got the rib eye steak with eggs. My preconceived idea was that the rib eye was probably going to be well done, chewy, and most times, a little spoiled. Boy, was I wrong!!!! The rib eye was perfect at medium rare, very tender, tasty, and most of all, it was not even a tad spoiled! Of course, my son had his usual chicken fried steak. Coming back for rib eye and steak!
