Shawarma House

I absolutely loved this place! We were looking for a quick and delicious lunch while we were at Great Wolf Lodge, so I was so happy I could call my order in and just walk over to pick it up so we could eat it in the room. The prices are a little high, but the portions are large and the food was amazing! I got the combo plate with beef kufta and asked to swap out the chicken kabob for chicken shawarma, and my husband got the mixed beef/chicken shawarma wrap with fries. To start, the hummus was the best hummus I've had in my life! I love the smooth texture, which is different from the grainy texture most hummus has. The beef kufta was flavored so well and the chicken shawarma was delicious and juicy. The rice and salad were also good. My husband's wrap was good too, although there's a flavor with the vegetables that I can't quite put my finger on that I could do without. The steak style fries were also a miss - slight undercooked and not salted enough. Now for the side sauces - garlic sauce was 15 out of 10, and their spicy red sauce was perfect for that extra kick! I can't wait to go back for another plate, maybe with a side of hummus!The staff was nice, food prep was pretty quick, and there's plenty of seating inside and outside to dine in. I went around noon on a Saturday and it started to get pretty busy when I was on the way out, but a lot of their orders were for takeout. Definitely give this spot a try if you're in the area!

***I don't want to give it a 1 because the food is alright but it's a 2 because there was plastic in the rice. Please do better on that end.***But i'll give my honest opinion about the food. Shawarma wrap is good, just not a fan of the wrapping. Not the worst but not the best. (4/5)Chicken kabob plate is okay. Hummus was amazing, chicken kabob was dry, and the rice is fluffy & strong spices (not into the rice but I can see why people would like it). (2/5)Fries is okay, nothing special (3/5)Garlic sauce is (4/5) really good, and smooth but can't put it at 5/5 because I do have a top number one garlic sauce. Price is a little too much for me.

Wow! Is all we have to say. While visiting from Hawaii, we were getting tired of the fast food options. My husband looked up so options. And came across Shawarma House. We phoned in an order, and he was so friendly and it didn't seem like a bother at all. When we came to pick up our food, the parking lot was packed. And lots of people in and out. Always a good sign! We got back to our hotel. And phew...it was tasty and such a big portion. I got the shawarma plate and my husband got a wrap. I wish we came back a few more times before we left. But definitely have this one saved for the next Cali trip! Can we give more than 5* y'all deserve it!!

Shawarma House has been on my list and so I'm glad I finally got an opportunity to visit. This is a counter service restaurant. We ordered the beef and chicken shawarmas and a few Barbicans and sat at a corner table. The restaurant was clean and simple - well-maintained. There's parking conveniently in front of the restaurant. There's lots to love about the shawarmas - 1. everything is evenly distributed, so, with every bite, you'll get a little bit of everything 2. there's TONS of flavor, especially in the beef 3. it might be a little silly but I do appreciate that the shawarmas are a good size - it can fit in my hand and mouth and not be overwhelming - which also means it's not messy!I would definitely recommend!

Last review of 2024! Ended it with a great one!Shawarma House is a small little restaurant that serves amazing food. The prices are good, the atmosphere is good, but most importantly, the food was great! We ordered the mix grill combo (the $22 one) and that one came with chicken, steak, and kofte (can't spell lol). It comes with rice, hummus, and small salad. Man... they gave a lot of food and all of it was excellent! Dip it in the garlic sauce and boom. A delicious bite. My wife and I were able to split one and felt full by the end of it. Oh and it also comes with pita of course. You know this place is good when you see them grilling the meats outside on charcoal. I would totally come back to this place. If you get a chance to check it out, go do so! You won't regret it!

Great little hidden gem! Delicious shawarma wraps!! Comes with garlic and tahini sauce. The kofta kebab platter was also delicious. It came with rice. Placed our order and we sat at an outdoor table. They called our name on the speaker when it was ready. Outdoor and indoor tables. Pleasant staff. Good selection of food. Felt like home!

My husband and I came here for lunch because we were in the area and came out pretty satisfied! Shawarma house offers a variety of appetizers, salads, wraps, and plates. I ordered the mixed shawarma wrap with mixed meats, which consisted of beef and chicken and a side of fries. The wrap was decently large because it was enough for 2 meals. The meat in it tasted good and it is halal if that is important to you! I highly recommend adding the sauces to the wrap because it really enhanced the flavors in it. The fries were also crispy and well seasoned. The store itself is pretty casual as you order at the counter, get called, and then sit at any open tables. Because of this, there isn't much service here. The store is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking.Overall, I'd say this is a solid, quick spot to satisfy your shawarma craving!

The food here is delicious. My go to is the chicken kabobs family meal , the chicken is delicious, very tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. The service is fast and friendly, this is my new go to spot for delicious Mediterranean food. I love the place and found the kind of kabobs.

When you walk in, folks are super kind and welcoming, so it's great vibes all around! The restaurant itself is spacious and open. There are plenty of plate and kabob options, but I wanted to get my protein in, so I got a Chicken Shawarma plate. Portion sizes are hugeeeee and they come in a microwaveable safe Tupperware so you can take it home :D I loved the hummus and bread combo, and enjoyed mixing it into my rice and chicken as well. Clean and satisfying food not too far from home!

Easily added to my favorite take out places in OC! I got the beef/chicken plate which comes with rice, devine hummus, salad, pita bread, and dipping sauces for about $15 or so. I am actually IN LOVE with their hummus! It tastes so fresh and homemade, I would definitely eat a whole bucket of that. I prefer the chicken over the beef but both were so juicy and flavorful. The meat can be seen rotating in the heater thingymabob in the back so it's for sure FRESH! Service is quick and friendly. Oh and need I say that the plate portions are pretty big! My bf got the chicken/beef shawarma wrap which was about $10 or so? I forget! But the portion is decently sized and you totally need to get fries with this! The wrap is very tightly wrapped in an organized manner making it easy and clean to eat for those that don't like to eat messy or for first date purposes LOL. Plenty of parking in this small lot
