It's modern but still cozy, with enough energy to feel lively without being overwhelming.The food was absolutely the highlight. The cuts of meat were fresh and high quality, with marbling that made everything tender and flavorful once grilled. The staff were on top of things, helping with the grill and offering recommendations when I wasn't sure what to order. I especially loved the pork belly and marinated short rib, both packed with flavor and perfectly balanced with the assortment of banchan. The side dishes were plentiful and replenished without needing to ask, which I appreciated.Service here was excellent. Even during a busy dinner rush, the servers were attentive and quick to bring out orders. They kept an eye on the grill, ensuring nothing overcooked, which made the experience smooth and stress-free.Ambience-wise, it's a great spot to enjoy a night out with friends or family. The music was upbeat but not too loud, and the tables are spaced out enough to not feel crammed in. It's a little pricier compared to some other KBBQ spots, but the quality of the food and the overall experience make it well worth it.Seoul N Spirits BBQ delivers on all fronts, from food to service and the atmosphere. I've gotten to the age where AYCE is no longer my jam. This is not an AYCE place, rather it's a La carte where you get quality over quantity. We ordered brisket, LA Kalbi, and two different short ribs. All the meats were good.Corn cheese was good. The banchan was also good! One of them was even a shredded pork (or beef) thing. Service was also fantastic. There were 6 of us and they gave us a room. The ladies that work there are so nice and this is one of those places where they cook for you. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that they only had the radish, no rice paper!

Marinated Jumuluk (주물럭) goes well with rice Boneless Short Rib (ggot sal 꽃살) was also nice They will cook the meat for you right at the tableBut sometimes they are busy and unable Watch the grill to ensure the food doesn't burnOtherwise that'll be a lesson you'll learn!

We've been here 4 to 5 times now and the food is pretty good overall. The side dishes (banchan) are very basic. And for some reason they are very stingy when it comes to providing garlic. Not sure why, but they have a strict rule about giving out garlic I guess. However the Rib Finger meat and most of their meats were tender and delicious. We all thought the Wang Galbi wasn't worth the price. It was just okay. Naengmyun (cold noodle) was good and worth ordering.

Great quality and very clean! Best kbbq meat I have ever had and I have been to most of the trendy and popular spots in the OC area. My kids love their food too which is a plus! Service is friendly and very attentive.

I've been coming to this location since I was little. They switched ownership two years ago and the food is just as great. Sometimes when I'm not looking to feel super stuffed with the variety of AYCE KBBQ places in Irvine, this place is where my family and I go. Eating here, you will feel just the right amount of satiated while being able to enjoy high quality meats and service. The workers cook the food for you. They have modernized the restaurant with quality ventilation and tablets to order food from your table. Very good facility!

Seoul N Spirits BBQ is a good choice for Korean BBQ, but I wouldn't call it "the best Korean BBQ in town" as advertised. They also claim to serve the finest cuts of meat, but I've had better at both Baekjeong and Marble Steakhouse also in Irvine. I read a few Yelp reviews and I def felt like some of the 5-star reviews were misleading bc I didn't share the same dining experience. The restaurant can be found in a plaza at the intersection of University Drive and Michelson Drive, and they do accept reservations.We ordered the Large Beef & Pork Combo which includes choice of Sirloin or Boneless Short Rib, Brisket, Short Rib Steak, Pork Belly and Pork Jowl. We were told it feeds 3-4 people. Our favorite by far was the Short Rib Steak, but I noticed cuts like the Brisket were too fatty and Pork Jowl was too lean. All combos are served with soybean soup, banchan and sauces. We also supplemented our meal with Steamed Eggs which I recommend.This is a full-service restaurant, so you can expect the staff to cook the meats in front of you. From a service perspective, it would be best described as mixed. We had different staff members servicing our table, and some were definitely friendlier than others. At times, it wasn't the easiest to track down a server. For the price, I'd prefer to go to Marble or Baekjeong but Seoul N Spirits is still a solid choice for KBBQ in Irvine.

Quality Korean BBQ! Instead of AYCE, they focus on premium cuts of high quality meat that the employees grill to perfection right before your eyes. The service, presentation and food is impeccable! My jaw literally dropped to the floor when they brought out the Beef and Pork set (Large) we ordered. Just peep the picture below to see this masterpiece!All of their sets include rice, your choice of soybean or kimchi stew and refillable side dishes (banchan). You can order the meat a la carte, but I think the sets are a better value. The kimchi stew was really soothing and warmed us right up! The banchan was authentic and plentiful. Love that they offer fish cakes, kimchi, broccoli, potato salad, radish and even green onion kimchi! Highly recommend ordering the cheese corn and steamed egg, which even came topped with lots of cheese - definitely unique to this place! Loved the ambiance, as we didn't have to wait long to get seated in a booth, which was private, relatively quiet and well-ventilated. Will definitely be back, as we were highly pleased by the quality and taste of the food, as well as our whole experience. I only hope they read this and also consider adding rice paper to the menu!
