Scotty's is a community staple. If you want a local, good every time, home style breakfast, this is the place for you. The service is great- staff is friendly and attentive. Something random that I like about Scotty's as a coffee gal: they leave the bottle of creamer on your table, LOL. I love that! Ambiance/Aesthetic is kind of rustic/farmhouse decor. Scotty's is an IYKYK spot. Perfect for Sundays after church or Saturday morning for good gru

Scotty's is one of my Whittier favorites spots. We normally come for Sunday breakfast and are never disappointed. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and friendly which just adds another layer of enjoyment to a great dinning experience. Now let's talk about the heart and soul of Scotty's, the food. The menu boasts an array of authentic family style classic diner cuisine that transports our tastebuds to various levels. Each dish we order is a culinary masterpiece with a perfect blend of flavors and textures that showcased management's commitment to quality and authenticity. In conclusion, Scotty's is a Whittier iconic gem that goes beyond just being a restaurant but an experience. It always succeeds our expectations not only by satisfying our palates but created a long lasting impression of an amazing dinning experience. The spot is definitely a Chef driven culinary destination that has encouraged multiple returns making us pretty much regulars!!

Scotty's is a legend in Whittier. Even though they moved locations years ago, we all still patronize this spot because the food, service, and portions are really that good. I personally like to partake in breakfast as I love an old fashioned down home start ot my day. The menu has everything you'd want at a reasonable price. The only suggestion is that you MUST add those biscuits and gravy to any breakfast dish - they are amazing. Fact is, every plate I've had here is great and the staff is so kind and welcoming that anyone would love it here.

Saturday breakfast was decently busy with a short wait. The food was also decent nothing super stand out. The gravy used for chicken fried steak and the biscuits was delicious but super heavy fatty I had to run home if you know what i mean lol. The patty melt was okay it had american cheese instead of swiss or some white cheese. The service itself was very good and attentive. Super friendly waitress and hosts id go again if it wasnt far from us. Also, the close seating arrangement isnt really my thing either got super loud in there. Try a weekday if you want to try it out without being bothered.

First time trying Scotty's - our kids had been here once and invited us to join them for Breakfast. I'm a creature of habit and if I see corned beef hash on the menu, that's it - I stop looking. And my hubby is on an ongoing quest to find the yummiest chilaquiles - and we noticed several people on Yelp raved about them so he had to give them a try.Our waiter was great - really friendly and outgoing - I really liked the homey atmosphere - all the condiments were on the table kinda like how you'd have it at home.So starting with my breakfast - I enjoyed my corned beef hash and eggs with sourdough toast - definitely a classic for me - I really enjoyed it. And I'm all for the regular canned hash that's cooked up toasty - yum!The chilaquiles looked great and they were served with tri-tip. My hubby's reaction with his first bite was a good one, but then as he got to the meat, he said it wasn't really seasoned so he tried adding salt, which didn't really help. It really needed to be seasoned initially when it was being cooked. He was so hopeful that it would have been a lot tastier - he rated it a 6 out of 10.Just be aware that this place gets busy, so be sure to get your name on the wait list.

This place is so cute , it's like you walk in and you instantly feel like your in one of those restaurants in a hallmark movie , the service was super good and friendly, everyone is helping out and doing their best, and the food was sooooooo good , oh and their salsa is so fresh it tasted and smelled amazing , it smelled so good I swear I was tempted to use it as perfume maybe that's a stretch but take my word for it! It's bomb

Wife and I came here for breakfast we both ordered the omelette breakfast, no coffee. The bill was $60 total. That's ridiculous that's call price gouging. I understand things are expensive but no where in the world that an egg omelette is $30
