The service is beyond anything I have seen in a really long time.The first time I came here, I walked in and I got a banh mi and rice vermicelli both with grilled pork. The older gentlemen behind the counter said it would take 20 mins and gave me some tea. I can't have caffeine so I politely declined, but thanked him. I stood outside and after about 10 mins, he came out with a container of chips and said something to snack on while you wait. Another nice gesture. This man was walking out to everyone's car dropping off their food and then going back inside. Working overtime with a smile every time. When my items were ready, he brought them out to me, as I was standing outside and I went back to my car. When I looked in the bag, there was random desserts and fruit that was another surprise. When I got home, the food was nice, but the meat was very minimal, I told myself I would order extra meat with the sandwich next time.The next time I ordered over the phone and got 2 banh mis double meat, and when I got home it just seemed like the extra meat wasn't added, on both sandwiches. Again, very minimal meat. However, again I was given free tea and another surprise dessert.The grilled pork isn't traditional grilled pork you would get from normal rice vermicelli plate. The bbq chicken was simple grilled chicken. I would say the meat portions are the only disappointment out of this place, but the owners are so nice and giving it's really hard not to go back.

I drive here from Downey ** which is about 20ish mins away. Just came back here today (after not coming for a while due to work stress) and I'm greeted with "Haven't seen you in a while!" The fact that the owner knows me, my order and my frequency of visitation makes my foodie heart melt. Had my tofu banh mi with extra cucumber today and it was delicious! Missed it so much. Still a clean homey vibe inside like always!

Your traditional, authentic Vietnamese food!Was craving a Banh Mi Sandwich today, and they delivered with amazing service and good quality food!!!I portrayed a Banh Mi pork sandwich and a avocado smoothieEverything was made to order so expect fresh ingredients!They gave me a blueberry muffin and jasmine tea on the house!Will totally come back!

My review is solely based on the beef banh mi. My friend and I drove from LA to visit this spot so I can taste of an authentic banh mi that apparently has Maggie seasoning, legit baguette and what my friend swears is a magic mayo like no other. I've never had banh mi prepared this way so I was willing to try it! She did warn me that they are stingy with the meat portions so she always orders "extra". She paid for my beef banh mi and she wasn't kidding about the meat... "Extra" meat yet it was only one tightly packed layer of meat. The price was rather steep for the value. The flavor was just okay, in my opinion. I wasn't expecting the beef to be prepared this way since I'm used to the meat slightly marinated like how Banh Mi My Tho (SGV) does it. I've come to the conclusion that this just wasn't my cup of tea. On the other hand, the owner of the shop is extremely likable! He gives you tea as you wait outside for your order. It's a small space with no windows and limited standing area so you need to wait outside. We chatted with the gentleman for a bit and he also gave my friend and I free pastries for the toad. I would come back to talk to the owner and accompany my friend to buy her favorite banh mi but it'll be a pass for me and that's okay.

This place is so good, and owner is so nice! I always get the House Special sandwich... sometimes I get two so I have another one for later. Would love it if there was more meat in it though.I've ordered onsite and it was still a very short wait, but I did call ahead the last time. They include complimentary iced jasmine tea and a dessert - I've gotten fruit, candy, and cookies before.Grab and go place only!

I was working in the area and wanted a quick banh mi sandwich and Sandwich House popped up in my Yelp search. I parked out front and walked inside and the owner let me know their internet went down and they were only taking cash at the time which was fine. I ordered a sandwich, no drink and I think I ended up paying for a drink because the price on the menu didn't match the price I paid. The owner let me know the sandwich would be ready soon and to please wait outside and he would bring it out to my car. He was very nice and accommodating and even threw in a cookie and an iced tea. The sandwich was bomb. I got a BBQ Beef sandwich and it was definitely fresh ingredients and fresh bread that was used. Definitely would come back as the owner was so nice and greeted everyone and took their orders to them outside of the tore (Inside is tiny) and the sandwich was fresh!

Small mom and pop sandwich shop.I always get their house special sandwich when I come here. The prices are reasonable, and the food is made to order. If you want to save time you can call in your order. I believe the place is run by a husband and wife. I've noticed that they give freebies to all their guests. So far I've gotten, hand sanitizer, an apple, and dessert. They also give you ice tea with your order. The shop is located across the street from Cyprus College. There is no seating here so all orders are to go.

Unfriendly atmosphere! They use to be very nice and it changed. I experienced 2 unpleasant scenarios with this place recently. The first situation; I ordered on the phone for pick up. I was told it should be ready within 20 minutes. I got there after 30 minutes and it wasn't ready yet. The guy collected my payment which was not a problem. Again he told me it will ready within 20 minutes and to wait in my car. 30 minutes later, the guy went out asking me why am I park in front their store. I said, you told me to wait for my order in my car. Then he replied "oh, what was your name ?". I gave him my name then he went back inside the store. I waited for another 15 minutes before he gave me my order. It took me an hour for my order. I just can't leave because I already paid for it. This was rude of him and didn't even apologize for the delay. Today-second situation, I called to make an order. He answered the phone in a rude tone. He keep on telling me he is not understanding what I was trying to say. Wherein when he speaks, it's kind of hard to understand him because of his heavy accent. Again he told me it should be ready in 20 minutes. It did not happen again. I have to wait for another 20 minutes. Same scenario, he collected my payment and said it should ready in 20 minutes and then to wait in my car. I don't know what is going on with this store, it changed so much from friendly people to unfriendly people. I can't say it's change of management because still the same people. It fells like they don't want anybody in their store. It's unprofessional how they conduct business. It's about time for me to take this out of my to go list. Dreadful!

The food was great, but above that the price and the customer service is top notch. My first time going, he asked me if I had been there and had given me a few recommendations. After I ordered, he told me it would be 20 minutes and I should wait in my car and he'd bring it to me. About 10 minutes, he came out giving me tea and a desert on the house. The amazing service will make sure I come back, it was so nice.
