My tastebuds are delighted! Every bite I took was delicious and exciting. Everything from the flavors, the presentation, and the service was incredible. Issa the owner is so lovely and makes sure to add a personal touch to the experience. I will 100% be visiting again and telling everyone I know!! This place is a gem!

Stopped by here on a whim during a local event - it seemed like they were having some opening difficulties (someone stole their point of sale system! wtf!!) but got their lamb kebab plate and holy wow it was huge portion and everything was fresh and flavorful and just incredible! The folks behind the counter were friendly and took such good care of us - we were seated a bit past closing and they were really nice about it. We also shared the baklava ice cream dessert and I gotta say... I'm not usually a huge baklava fan, but this is definitely the best baklava I've ever had, so maybe I'm a convert? It was the perfect balance of flaky, honey sweet, and pistachio crunch, not too sticky or tacky in your mouth at all. I'm not local to Long Beach, but I hope to be back soon!

Was shocked that this place didn't show up higher in the list when I searched "lunch" in downtown Long Beach.Hands down some of the most delicious and home cooked style Mediterranean food I've had. Seriously haven't had this kind of comfort food since I went to my buddy's house as a kid and his grandmother made us food from the old country.Got the beef plate and everything from the hummus, to the salad and protein were spiced and cooked to perfection. Even the fries were in that fine state of firm and soft that you could still taste the potato but also have confidence in the dipping strength when submerged into ketchup.Pita bread was initially too thick for my liking but then I started pulled them apart and making little pocket pitas for the beef and covering in the amazing green pesto sauce.Also had to get the stuffed grape leaves and those were very well made with great seasoning and a very tight wrap that kept all the contents inside even after the initial half bite.Hands down will be coming back when visiting downtown Long Beach.Outdoor patio had great seating for us and our dog. Service was exception and informative with regards to explaining the menu and seasonings used.

Located within walking distance of downtown Long Beach. This small eatery was a great choice during my short lunch trip. The spiciness of the meat was not a joke. I only wished the plate had more rice and yogurt to dampen the burning sensation. If spicy food isn't your thing. Don't worry they got other great tasty hummus in several different flavors. The portion was just right for one. Price is around 15+.The counter waitress was engaging and made sure i wasnt on fire from the hot spicy meat.Overall, it was a very exciting and enjoyable experience. I give it a 4.8 out of 5.

Very nice and generous staff! Special thanks to Issa for taking care of us. Friendly service definitely made us feel welcomed and valued. Food was super fresh, flavorful, and huge portions. The side salad had a great flavor. They offer outdoor and indoor seating. Pets welcomed which makes for great family spot. Nice decor, good prices for the portion, and very tasty. Will be back forsure!

My daughter and I tried this place for the first time and we are definitely coming back! Beautiful decor and the ambiance is warm and inviting. Large portions and only the freshest ingredients. We both ordered the Greek Salad with Beef and Lamb Shawarma and Baba Ghannoush. So flavorful!

I had ordered online through the website and when I arrived, they were closing. Sadly, their POS terminal had been taken the day before so they weren't receiving orders from the website. Needless to say, they were kind enough to honor my order and still made it despite them closing up. Food was pretty good. I will try them again next time I'm in the area

Had a great experience dining in for dinner here. Amazing staff. Very friendly, they checked on us regularly and asked how well we'd like our beef shish kabobs to be cooked. We were even offered samples of the sides to try. The eggplant salad was delicious.We ordered a beef shish kabob with white rice, tabbouleh, and potato salad. It also came with pita bread, garlic sauce, and hot sauce; both sauces were good. Beef was very tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked to our liking. Good portions for the price. Next time when I'm more hungry, I'm ordering a plate just for myself.Good indoor or outdoor seating. It's away from the street so the seating and ambiance is calmer and more comfortable.Free 2 hour parking in parking structure nearby. Also meter parking available on nearby streets. Highly recommend!

I ordered the shawarma and it was shawarma. It was some meat product crap reheated in a skillet. Tasted gross. The babaganusg was mid at best and so was the hummas. At least it was terribly expensive. Pass pass pass. Go to Amatoli for some good chow.

Visited this place for the first time this weekend and it is my new favorite!! The food tasted so fresh and amazing. Great service, great environment. We ordered an assortment of plates and you truly can't go wrong with any of the plates! highly recommend
