Rose Donuts and Chinese Fast Food

I heard Rose had Thai tea boba and it's near the new neighborhood I recently moved to.Friendly service as soon as I walked in!Bonus: a fish and chip restaurant next door!

Stopped in on a whim, found super friendly employees allowing me to browse, and ended up buying some things even though I knew I couldn't finish it.Due to unfortunate circumstances on the Metro Blue Line, I had to get off at Willow Station and take a bus back to DTLB. There was a 20 minute wait, so as I was walking from the Metro station to the bus stop, I stopped into Rose Donuts and Chinese Fast Food.It's an interesting combination, for sure. I had already eaten lunch, but the donuts looked good, so got 20 donut holes (10 for $2) and a Donut Bar - Chocolate glazed for $1.55...to go. No sales tax for donuts, since they are not considered a prepared food. As suspected, when I got home, I was able to finish the donut...and it was delicious. The donut holes were for the next day, and they were still edible ('m sure it would have been great fresh)..but became too hard by the following night. My bad for ordering too much.As the sign says, they also serve prepared chinese food from a steam tray, and have ice blended smoothies and breakfast and deli sandwiches. Took pictures of the menu and later realized that the chinese food menu doesn't have prices. The turnover of the food on that steam tray didn't seem to be too fast, though just a guess.

Bought me some bagel sandwiches it's so delicious and they have a yummy foods recommendation to go back again soon love the environment and energy.

Almost every donut spot closes after 5 but this spot was open and close, here was our experience on a week day evening.Parking:Small parking plaza, not so busy so you shouldn't have issues with parking.Seating:Inside seating for about 3 groups. Mainly a spot for a grab and go.Feels:The corners of Long Beach so you're not in the touristy spot. The location itself is okay, you're surrounded by business shops and other eateries. There's a tv playing in the background and a pretty decorated spot. Moreover good for a grab and go spot.FOOD:Fried Rice (Recommend)I digged it, simple, moist and pretty savory.Pork Ribs (Recommend)There's something about char siu sauce that makes food appetizing. It's very sauce and the meat was well cooked.Orange Chicken (A-OK)Fulfilling and gets the job done. The chicken was saucy and was quite tangy.Donuts (Recommend)I dig the donuts. They were still pretty fresh, I liked the choices and style points to the butterfly donut.CUSTOMER SERVICE:Good! Our server was friendly and helpful with our orders.TL; DR OVERALL:3.5 Stars. This is not gourmet but I love how it has a little bit of everything. Chinese food, donuts, croissants, boba!?!? It has it all. The food may not be quality but it's fulfilling and good comfort.Tips:* Donuts, food, breakfast? This is your spot.

Friendly local spot where you're treated like family even the first visit. Iced coffee is delicious as well. Stay a while and watch these women feed everyone!

I have driven by this place for years and finally decided to pop in. The temperature inside the location was easily 95 degrees or more. The Chinese food look fresh and tasty. Unfortunately after eating it I was incorrect. The food was fresh but it was not tasty. Under seasoned and very greasy. Customer service was good and the price was fair. I unfortunately would not be back for a second try.

If you live in California then you know Chenese Fast Food is a must have once in a while, if not every week. Well this owner knows what she is doing; Chinese food + donuts? I love it!So, I love Chenese fast food, however, the cook here deserves the award for kooking so we'll. * AMAZING FOOD*.The service is exceptional.and very and the place is very accommodating. Just needs better parking but you can get a fat plate for only 10$ and it's good asl, lady is nice too

Food is great. Fast and easy service and great place to grab some Asian cuisine. It's more on the Cambodian side than chinese but it's delicious.
