Roots Cafe

I'm a sucker for any coffee shop with a bunch of cold foam options! I got an iced matcha latte with strawberry cold foam. The strawberry cold foam was made with real strawberries! The perfect amount of sweetness. I LOVED it. Roots is a great study spot! I'm looking forward to coming back and possibly trying their banana pudding.

roots has been one of my favourite cafes since i moved into the area a few years ago. found them by happenstance on uber eats and immediately knew they would be a forever-cafe for me.the avocado toast here is my go-to order, add 2 fried eggs and it's perfect! their everything seasoning is better than anything i've gotten in grocery stores; makes each bite so addictive. i've tried many of the waffles with no complaint, and the cuban is delicious.before i realized i was allergic to bananas, their banana pudding was everything to me. such a yummy treat and i miss it every day!!the david is a solid coffee, but i prefer it hot over iced.but speaking of coffee... their espresso is out of this world - i have purchased their beans countless times because they're that good! my go-to drink is an iced honey lavender latte and it hits EVERY SINGLE TIME!! i will literally never get sick of it. if i recommend any drink, that's the one!every worker here is super nice and accommodating, i've never had any issues with anyone i've spoken to and everyone is sweet and welcoming.the inside of the cafe is cute and cozy, but it does run warm in there even in the summer, so just keep that in mind if you plan to kick back and study!the parking lot is annoying at certain times of the day, especially on weekends because of the kbbq next door, but you can usually find something if you don't mind a super short walk.i could rave about them all day, but they're definitely a staple in my cafe runs!

First time at this coffee shop and if it wasn't for Yelp, I wouldn't have ever know there was a coffee shop in this plaza. My husband and I came here to try out some drinks. We ordered The David (iced Vanilla Latte made w/H+H and topped with Cinnamon Vanilla Cream) and Cereal Milk Smoothie w/Cinnamon Toast. The David was really good - just the right amount of caffeine to sweet to creamy for me. It's definitely worth a try at Roots Cafe. However, the Cereal Milk Smoothie was a huge disappointment. The "smoothie" was more icy than creamy and basically felt like I could've made it at home. Wish the drink had blended better since it's listed as a smoothie on the menu but wasn't the consistency as expected.There's a few tables for customers to sit and one restroom for customer use. Roots is located in a pretty decent plaza with tons of parking. The atmosphere is more calm so I can see someone coming here to study or meet with a friend to catchup.

I ordered the vanilla latte with hazelnut cold foam and it was super delicious. The coffee flavor was still there and the foam was super creamy. It was not too sweet and I highly recommend!

Not a place for real coffee drinkers. It was the early afternoon, and I just wanted a cup of black coffee. I had been there before to try their lattes and other drinks, and those were ok. So I asked them if they had just plain black coffee, and they said they did. I watched as they got a cup of old coffee from the morning, put it in a small metal pitcher, and then use the steam wand to heat it up! McDonald's has fresher coffee than that. I was desperate for caffeine, so I gave it a try -- it was as bad as I thought it'd be. Old coffee that was now warm. Never again. Too many other, better coffee shops out there.

Yummy avocado toast, vegan donuts, lattes and tea. Friendly workers. Cute family friendly cafe (although seating is limited).

Really enjoyed the strawberry matcha latte I ordered! Love that the strawberry really peaks thru. Will definitely come back for this drink.

I absolutely love this place so much! The drinks are always soo good they never taste different. I always order the strawberry milk tea with a shot of espresso never disappoints. The employees are always so nice and the coffee shop is super cute they have their own merchandise I think it's super unique. I highly recommend this coffee shop 10/10. The only thing I don't like, and it's not a big deal is that they open 8am. I wish they opened a little earlier since I'm an early bird and start work pretty early. But if you're thinking of going GO!!

I absolutely love the coffee at this cafe! If I was closer to it, I would stop by nearly every morning. It's a nice vibe with plenty of indoor seating. It is located in a small business plaza with ample parking spaces.This cafe serves tea, waffles, avocado toast, and more.Their waffle was decent. It was a nice treat to share between two people and comes with a scoop of ice cream. Personally tried the matcha waffle, which comes with condensed milk as a topping instead of the traditional syrup.Friendly service. Would recommend.

Their Iced Vanilla Latte (love getting it sugar free vanilla as well), is my favorite iced latte!!!! It is the perfect flavor profile for me, can't explain it but i've had it at large coffee chains, other mom & pop coffee shops, yet, the Roots Cafe one just... speaks to me. And its delicious and perfect. Only downside is that there isn't a larger size than their large! I'd gladly treat myself to a super big iced vanilla latte, but the large will do just fine :)
