Rodrigo's is a nice Mexican restaurant with the usual Mexican-style foods you would expect. The quality of the food has always been good with large portion sizes.My favorite item has been the Carne Asada and Camarones. The dish comes with steak, shrimp, vegetables, guacamole, salsa, and beans. Colorful and tasty.Service has always been excellent. I particularly appreciated it when the server, on more than one occasion, noticed that my salsa dish was getting low and refreshed the salsa supply.

Can't believe I've been here over a dozen times and never wrote a review. Favorite is the tostada and the chile colorado. Rice is good and beans are taste. Pork verde is also very good. Complimentary chips and salsa are a plus. Coffee and mexican hot chocolate are great to top off the meal. And save room for churros and flan for dessert!Love the Mexican decor and staff is friendly and helpful! Keep coming back!!

This is my first time coming here, their food was darn good. Got the lunch special chimichanga with shredded beef which I regret cause of my stomach lol but it was kinda worth it. The ambiance was great, dimmed down lights made it sweet inside. Cute cozy little booths for you to sit in. They have cute pictures all over the walls. The sealing was painted with flowers. I loved it super cuteThe service was great, our food came out quickly and it was hot and fresh. The chips and salsa were good the chips were so crunchy and fresh the salsa yummy but not hot.I would recommend this place for a nice Mexican food experience. The $6 margarita was delicious and every bite of my stuffed pasilla chile relleno was delicious! The rice and beans were well seasoned and the wet carne asada burrito looked amazing. The servers kept our baskets of freshly fried tortilla chips loaded and our water glasses full. The jovial dining room was full of happy customers!

This place is doing its job, plates of Mexican classics covered with a blanket of cheese, especially if you get a big combo. I tried their stuffed pasilla chile and it was fresh and delicious paired with black beans it is a much lighter option... until you eat half your wife's food. I grew up in Costa Mesa and this place is very reminiscent of some of my favorites like mi casa. I wish Rodrigo's was more themed...

What a little gem! Rodrigo's Mexican Grill was pretty darn good! We came at lunch time and got seated fast. The place is a little worn, but clean. Our server Benjamin did a great job taking care of our table. I got the chile relleno combo. I got two chiles and they were massive! Honestly more that I could eat. The chiles were good and so was the cheese blend they were stuffed with. Juicy and flavorful! I'd love to come back to try some other options!Good food, great service!

Could not have been more ignoredWalked in on this a Sunday night 5:30pmSaw 6 tables with people being served by two waitresses-Informed waitress needed two separate checks for both couplesSaid ok.Waitress took the drink and food order, delivered food and drinks.We waitied for her to come by to ask how everything is and maybe get more napkins,do refills. Nothing for 20 min--Then she appeared and I asked for a refill on my tea and she brought a tea.Usually they would also bring a pitcher to refill the waters on the table to top them off but no-Vanishes again after another 15 minutes , appears with the bill.All on one check ......Told her we needed two checks- now said she cannot do that - and she is "too busy- please go upfront"!!!!!!!!??????I went up front-Cashier cancelled original ticket, wrote up two orders, applied the $10 coupon to each and we left.We were going to stay and enjoy our conversation but got the hell out.Too bad, we live nearby and eat there often---

Had a very nice meal at Rodrigo's. Our server was very friendly. He recognized us right away and knew our order. The restaurant was clean and decorated for Valentine's Day. The food came out fresh hot and exactly as ordered. Will definitely come back!

They have great ceviche and Mexican food. Love love the fajitas. Great Happy hour too.
