Rivera's Tacos

This place has been hit or miss over the years as a matter of fact I'm sure I already did a favorable review on this place but no sir not after this one. If you have an off day and don't make it the same each time but when you start adding things I didn't ask for like finger nails no thanks.

Drive by here and decided to stop. You basically have a window outside and order what you want. There are a few tables outside but that's it. No indoor seating which is fine. I ordered some tacos. I tried asada, cabeza, tripa, and buche. My favorite were the cabeza and tripa. So good!!! I really enjoyed the taco as and also tried horchata. Only thing I wish would be better is the salsa. It had zero spice and it wasn't flavorful. But the guy that worked there was really nice! Food was hot and lots of meat. I recommend this location!!

The best customer service, great, and clean . Good vibes environment. The food here is very tasty. Reminds me of my hometown Mexico. I always come here for breakfast burritos as well as their Menudo and other items of the menu that are fantastic. Muy recomendado la verdad que es un negocio familiar que brinda un muy buen servicio con alta calidad de comida mexicana sabores muy típicos de nuestro país México vengan a probar la comida aquí se lo recomiendo !

I visited Rivera tacos often, they know my order and they know I pay for everything I want this time. I paid again for sour cream but didn't get it in my burrito went back to show him, I open My burrito a sour cream wasn't there. I went back to show them and The guy was so mean to me he slammed the window in my face through the little cup of sour cream at me. It was pathetic. I go there often i'm really nice all the time. My son loved their Fish Taco Wednesday. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN EVER!!! LET US BOYCOTT THIS BUSINESS. SO NOT EAT AT RIVERA TACO IN LONG BEACH. AS HARD AS TIME IS NOW. EVERY SINGLE BUSINESS NEEDS TO APPRECIATE THEIR CUSTOMERS

Sorry to say but service is bad here. I had two bad experiences here. One is late at night and they said they are closed even though its 945 pm. Still 15 minutes left til 10. Second one is early evening. I pulled up and I stood there for a good 10 minutes waiting for service. The cook was eating at the back. He saw me but kept on eating. I know you're on your lunch break but he could at least called out to the attendant.Granted food is good, but I'm not going to waste my time waiting. And both instances I was ordering to go.

Worst breakfast burrito I've seen in a long time. The burrito was 90% those frozen hash brown potatoes. Super soggy and greasy. Some cheap goopy white cheese, 1 scrambled egg with 3 pieces of rock hard bacon. I wish I didn't throw it out right away so I could have taken a picture of this disaster. $8 down the drain and I'm still hungry I gave two stars because the lady was very nice and parking is very convenient.

My favorite neighborhood spot for Mexican food. My go to items are the chile relleno burrito/plate, fish tacos, and the horchata. We usually call our order in and it's ready for pickup in ~ 10 minutes. There are many Mexican options in this area but this one is my go-to.

We came for a quick breakfast on a Wednesday morning since hubby was craving a breakfast burrito. There's a small dedicated parking lot in front of the stand and an outdoor seating area next to the place. But because of Covid, it's locked up at the moment. He got a breakfast burrito with chorizo and I tried the chilaquiles with egg. Food was nice and hot. Very generous portions for the price. Both red and green salsas it came with were pretty good too. The only thing I didn't like about my dish was the egg was a little too overcooked for me. Otherwise the flavor of the chilaquiles was good. Credit card is accepted but not sure if they charge a fee to do so. Overall, we'd come back to try something else.

Amazing Food, Fast Service and plenty of parking and seating. I highly recommend their tacos al Pastor

Good burritos and pozole but the menu photos on yelp need to be updated. The breakfast burrito has more than doubled in price
