My dad used to take me here when I was very little and these are still my favorite donuts in OC! The donuts are very light and fluffy with good flavor and the owner is very polite, I love stopping by to grab a donut or two.Not much seating room inside and has cute decorations.

Someone brought these cookies to a baby shower I was at and I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. Then I ordered some for my holiday party and again for my work potluck.The oatmeal chocolate chip are *AMAZING*Chocolate chip and snickerdoodle were also very good. You can place your order ahead by phone, like $5-6 for a dozen which is such a deal given the quality and size of the cookies.The place itself is a donut shop and the people running it are super friendly. Highly recommend for your next gathering

ORDERoatmeal chocolate chip cookies (5/5)i always come here for cookies! my absolute favorite are the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, but they're usually sold out if i don't go early enough :') the chocolate chip cookies & snickerdoodle cookies are yummy as well! the cookies are a little on the sweet side, but the texture is perfect. One of my go to donut spots! The donuts are always fresh and delicious. This is a family owned spot and the same sweet lady is always there. FYI they only take cash! Definitely recommend!

CASH ONLY! Or Venmo :) These are the freshest most delicious donuts I've ever had. I stopped here on a Saturday morning around 6:30 AM to pick up some donuts for the nurses prior to going to work. They were coming fresh out of the oven when I arrived. She charged me $12 for a dozen donuts which I think is very fair!!!! I tried the apple cinnamon one and it was sooooooo delicious. The owner was sweet and polite. I will definitely be coming back!

I decided to treat myself to some donuts and so I went to Richard's coz it's been a while. Well, it was a GREAT choice! Damn, their donuts are delicious... soft, pillowy, fresh, and fluffy. I must say AngelFood and Richard's are on par. Both are my favorites now. Since I haven't had donuts in months, I got an assorted dozen and I'm all about sharing after all.Staff was friendly; I was in and out the door in a few minutes. The store was clean and organized. They also good selection of flavors when I stopped by. Decor was sparse and I think this is typical for any donut shop. I was there for donuts, not to be wowed by decorations. Lol. For the yummy treats I ate, the price was reasonable. I enjoyed my donuts and would definitely return. I didn't get cookies this time coz they ran out of the flavors I wanted and I was craving more for donuts.

I had a craving for donuts and Yelp led me to this cute mom-and-pop shop! First off, the smell when you walk in is great! I had to remind myself that I was only there for donuts, lol. I got a box to share with my house and they had a great variety. You can't go wrong with the classics! Taste-wise, they were all really yummy and were all very fresh and fluffy. The prices were great too. Bring cash!! The workers were also very sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back to try the cookies next time!

Ordered a surprise bag via Too Good to Go. I was honestly hoping the bag would have some of the chocolate chip cookies that some Yelpers raved about in their reviews, but I was not at all disappointed by the box so filled with donuts that it would not close. I appreciate that these bags/boxes are picked up at the end of the day versus the next day. The donuts still taste fresh! Pick up was a breeze and parking was easy to find. Not the flashiest store but you don't go to a donut shop for the ambiance.

I found Richards Cookies and Donuts thru the "too good to go" app! I reserved my "surprise bag" and came to pick up later in the day. To my surprise, I got a dozen donuts for $5! Omg what a steal! It's a surprise bag, so they pick what's in the grab bag. I brought it back to work and shared with my coworkers. It was a great mid-day snack! Yummy! I recommend checking out the app to see what other local shops are around and/or seeing if Richards Cookies and Donuts is on there to try out their donuts! I def would love to try and get more surprise bags to see what else I can try next! *maybe cookies????*Honorable Mentions:-plenty of parking

Best Muffins around! Blueberry is my favorite avorite but Bran & Banana Nut are just as delicious!
