French Toast
Taco salad with carnitas - really nice and the carnitas may have been the best I've ever had!
They gave me a sample of the guava Aguas Frescas - it was very flavorful and if you like guava you'll love it - it's very sweet

As I travel and explore new places , I came across this place that was said to be the spot.. well sorry to let you guys down , but the worst place I've ever. The beans were sour and just tasted really bad , the rice dry !! Chilaquiles the worst ever.. my god daughter had French toast burnt.. I can keep going on on , but to each there own taste !! The place I recommended is El Ranchito in Huntington Park , original owners over 60 yrs or The Avacado in chino hills now that's a 10 !!

My daughter and I came here for breakfast. Though the food was enjoyable, the service was atrocious. I loath using Race as a talking point, but I have to say, my daughter and I are both noticeably White. That being said, we put our name in, at least 4 other people put their in After us. The girl called everyone else's name, mind you in Spanish. I went in and asked about us, she proceeded to just Point at an empty table, no words at all. At this point I decide to stay JUST to see how this was going to play out. As I expected, we were not addressed Until I approached the server, took my order without any comments... food arrived, no utensils, after asking for some, twice, it took about 10 min. our table was never approached again. No "anything else?" no "Refill?" Even had to ho to the cashier to ask for the bill. THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE. for me and my family,,,,NEVER AGAIN!

Mom and Pop spot with divey vibes in an excellent location right next to King Richard's antiques. Decent menu, great service and convenient whenever I'm antique hunting. I was greeted and seated immediately...my server was extremely friendly and attentive. She even brought me a sample of their new Aguas Frescas flavor - guava. And if you like guava you'll love it - very nice level of guava flavor - but it was definitely too sweet for me and I'm not a huge fan of guava flavored things - but still worth a try. For my lunch I got one of my faves - taco salad - and it hit the spot. They give you choice of meat so I went with the carnitas and it was fantastic- some of the best carnitas I've ever had I think - very generous amount and it was tender, slightly roasted on the outside and so flavorful. I loved it and there wasn't an overwhelming amount of salad - it was just right. They didn't offer any salad dressing which I thought was odd but were happy to bring me a side of ranch when asked. No biggie.Prices are a tad high, but they all seem high to me nowadays lol! The tables and cutlery were clean enough but my water came in a very worn plastic glass which I hate and the cleanliness of it was dubious at best. My lunch plate was also broken is several places and if you go to the bathroom don't look around too much lol. Parking is very limited in terribly tight spaces but there's also street parking. They're doing a lot of construction at King Richard's right now so that adds to the parking chaos.

Got hungry while in King Richard's and luckily the hours for this place on yelp are wrong (open to 4 on weekends)The cinna sticks were so good. Crisp but soft, sweet but not too sweet. Get them.

I've been a couple of times. The servers are super kind and friendly. They serve you very fast. The coffee is basic hot coffee but they do offer flavored creamer options. The food, personally the chilaquiles and stuffed French toast are really good. But I had pozole not for me. It lacked flavor it was bland. But overall I would say come try it. I'm sure there's something for your taste buds.
