Red and Louie's Pizzeria

I'm in from out of town staying down the street at the Sea Sprite and didn't feel like paying for overpriced bar food on the Strand, so I tried this place. It's phenomenal.The deep dish tastes so good and the sauce has a lot of tomatoes that have a lot of zip. Honestly, it's just a perfect pizza.Highly recommended if you just wanna eat good food.

Wanted to try a new pizza spot so I ordered from here. I got the 10" pan meat lovers kind (built it myself) And I loved it. That was a 10/10Then I ordered a 12" thin half cheese half chicken hot honey pizza. Those were a 6/10. Didn't really like the chicken hot honey pizza. Also got cheesy garlic bread, that was 8/10As for the service, it was empty when we picked up. I did not really like the ambiance to dine in. We were given napkins and inside that bag only two packets of chili flakes. Like what? No parm? You wouldn't think we'd want parm too? So if you want extra side of anything, don't forget to ask for it because they were most likely too stingy to give you anything.

Was craving some deep dish pizza and came across Red and Louie's. Maps was sending us to an establishment across the street on the corner but luckily we were able to find it. We ordered the cheese bread, wings and a pizza to share. The cheese bread was amazing! There was a mix up in the kitchen and we were given someone else's order but didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive once we let out waitress know - I just feel bad for the folk's whose pizza we dug into before realizing it wasn't what we ordered - they may have had to wait a little longer. The place was packed on the night we went and had to bump another couple for a tiny table in the corner of the restaurant but the food was good!

Great pizza just steps from the beach? Yes please! I'll be back!Came in for dinner on a Saturday evening - they were busy but not packed. No wait at all for a table of 3. Service was prompt and friendly.Got some mango habanero wings and a carnivore pizza. Both were great. The pizza was square sliced which I love for sharing purposes. And the wings were grilled which was surprising but a winning surprise in the World of sloppy baked wings. The mango habanero packed a nice but very manageable punch. The pizza has a nice crisp to the crust. Overall? Very enjoyable experience!

It's such a homey place to be! Friendly staff and atmosphere. I was there in the evening and they made yummy pizza. We got a thin crust because that's our fav type, but I think they are more known for the deep dishes.Street parking but check the time and meters. Would recommend for the friendly people and pizza

The pizza here is out of this world.I came in with my family because my sister lived in Hermosa at the time and we all enjoyed the pizza as well as the service. I definitely would recommend this restaurant and I will be coming back!

For 20 years, I have been on the hunt for pizza that could mimic the taste of a Chicago style S.O.B. What's that? Seems simple enough. Sausage, onion, bacon on a thin crust with a sweet tangy BBQ sauce. A staple in the Chicago area, but a unicorn in LA.Tonight, I found the unicorn! Had heard the pizza chef hailed from Chicago and that he could do it. Hmmm. With a raised eyebrow, I gave it a try. And he DELIVERED! Texts immediately went out to all my Chicago family and friend transplants. As if that wasn't enough, service was excellent; Friendly and attentive. Also had a traditional Italian salad and a glass of Pinot noir, while listening to some rock tunes, Pearl Jam, etc.Highly recommend on this Main Street in Hermosa, steps away from the Comedy club.

Red and Louie's the summer of 2024 on a visit to Hermosa Beach. As I walked along the boulevard and happened into the Pizzeria. What a Great!! pizza. I live in Louisiana and have since searched for a good pizza, and none come close to yours. The sauce, crust, and freshness. I look forward to seeing you soon. Blessings

The pizza was delicious. We are from out of town and were staying nearby. I checked out different pizzerias on-line and this had the best rating. It did not disappoint. Will definitely eat there again when in the area.
